With that I hope I don't get status updates on fb every 5minutes from the same person. It gets really annoying. Even more annoying than the itch from mosquito bites.

juz for sharing dis video, guys. i know there are many experienced & skillful riders here but there are still a minority not aware of the "rules for cornering".

the purpose is not to ask ppl go brush up on skills on kup corners but juz to share the safety of negotiating the corners. i'm using dis method too when i was on my sportsbikes & of cos, including any other bikes.

here is the link:

"outside the curve, inside the curve, outside the curve"

take note towards the end of the video, the cam on the bike, showing the way he is negotiating the corners. try your best to avoid all painted markings & lane lines, regardless on straight road or on curves.

of cos, we must use good tyres & suspensions for higher safety concious.

ride safe guys.

Its actually a good video. Good method too. But not really for SG roads. When you take the bend from the outside a driver which is behind you will have the thinking its an opportunity to overtake you on your left on the very same lane as you. As you lean to the inside the car is now in your way. The driver will just ignore you and even 'push' you more to the outside of the curve. I have seen this happen before and thankfully there are road shoulders for the rider to ride abit on. :faint:

Just watched it, to me, it's a good video teaching how to negotiate bends and that's about it. I learned that during my Playstation days playing Gran Turismo 1 & 2 and from there i brought it to the roads.

What duo said is true, in Singawhore, even if we ride safely/properly, it goes down the drain almost immediately when drivers around us do not understand what we are doing to keep our own selves safe and instead sees that as an oppurtunity to overtake us. Been in that situation too many times.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

yes bro, i know & understand wat u r trying to say. sad to say, u r right dat we cant compare our roads to those in europes. during busy traffic hours, i'll juz keep in the centre of the lane, with my vision "radar" alert. i use the method on quiet traffic, when i'm playing or negotiating corners at higher speed.

i sux at expressing & explaining, so i'm sorry if i give others the wrong idea. many ppl in the past tot i like to boast around with the skills & tatics cos i fail to deliver a clear view of wat i'm trying to say... :nono:

anyway, still the same old words: ride safely :)
