Chrome sidecovers for HONDA STEED

Hi,

 

can anyone help me out with where to get chrome side covers for my honda steed? i've seen lots of side covers for honda steed but its for the +'99 models and i have a prior '98 model. attached is a picture of what i want (the correct model). i'd be thankful for anyone who helps me out with this.

I saw a steed rider with such side covers and asked him where he got them. This was last September or so. He said there's a row of bike shops at alexander road area. Got it from 1 of the shops keeping spares.

 

Not much help, but a clue to where to start. You might want to just try your luck at alot of bike shops. I kept looking around for 1-2 mths when I wanted a 2nd hand speedometer.

 

Alternatively, you might consider getting ur side covers chromed.

the problem is that am from Maldives and i cannot check the alexander road area is there anyone who'd check it out for me? maybe someone can get me one and ship it to me, i'l pay via paypal for all costs. please help me, thanx.

thnx terrible one, but the auction is for the later model of the vlx. side covers for the '88 to '98 vlx fits my bike.
