Dont worry la TS my buddy didn't imposed any summons to you. You didnt received any letter am I right? They were there to advised you, WHY you have parked youre vehicle near to the BBQ pit. And had asked you to push your bike to the carpark instead asking you to ride to the carpark. Reason there might by cyclist/jogger on the track.

Its true that its a public area (lighted areas), and not being spared by those thieves whom might steal valuable from your vehicle be it car/van/lorry/motorcycle/tractor whom parked along ECP. They are doing enhanced patrol as theft from vehicle and theft of vehicle are rising around the area.

Just a gentle reminder not to parked at the pavement as other police office might not be kind enough to give you chance. There are designated lots to parked your vehicle. $0.65 does not make you poorer PLUS its can last for the whole day. Compare to $70/ fines by NPark officer. I believe carpark area near to food court and restaurant are payable others are free carpark.

Hope its a lesson learnt and no grudge. They are doing their job la bro. Rest my case. On behalf of my friend.

Was playing with 5 year olds and 3 year olds.

Playing with sand at Sentosa Beaches.

Somehow......I just cant stop thinking about making one heck of a bike sand sclupture.....

Or at least make sure the bike is 7 feet under, to save us all the agonising reading moments.......

but I'm paranoid! I kept dreaming that someone come steal my bike or bring open my side box steal my water bottle or break open my rear box steal my helmet... its just so unsafe...

After reading up on so many cases of thefts and all, i also paranoid. But we cannot stay with the bike 24/7. East Coast is a highly populated place, not many thieves will be so daring, unless you have diamonds or really valuable stuff inside your box.

Invest in an alarm then buy some chains or locks for your box if you are really so scared.

By the way, you dun hav to know all the rules. Just observe your surroundings... if not then sway sway pay school fees.

Try to think of other reasons like park there before then kenna sabo, no parking lots available, etc etc... your water bottle reason sure cannot appeal successful one la ...

they will ask you, $100 fine vs Water bottle. If you dunno the rules, now u know. If u want your water bottle, pay $100.

Cheers!

relax bro.. i was like you when i first brought my bike for the first 6 months.. Bear in mind.. I had covered my bike since day 2 when I purchase my bike.. Installed a wheel lock alarm since day 5 or 6.. I still walked down after bathing and before sleep to see my bike for 3-4 hours after I've reached home.. I only stared at my bike for the 3-4 hours and look for weird looking people around my bike... SUPER PARANOID... lolx.. so my advise.. Get a bike cover, wheel lock alarm, and a alarm.. This will set your mind at least 40%... the rest of the 60% will set in once you notice that your alarm did not goes off for 3 hours when you sit quite a distance from it for 1 month and after 2-3 months, your alarm goes off BUT it's a cat that jump on it or it's a uncle who accidentally touch your bike..

Simple as that.. I was you before... :D

I've been there, thus I understand how you are feeling... EVEN up to date.. I still cover my bike IRREGARDLESS rain or shine daily or whenever I leave my bike alone.. :)

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

The GST offset is for you to spend wisely.. not worth paying summon with the amount given. Enjoy.:thumb:. Case close.

Well, is there no way to appeal for such cases like parking on pavement? Has anyone had his fine waived after appealing for parking on pavement before?

wa police car moving along cyclist track?

Who say they can't?

Read the sign... It says "Essential vehicles" which covers NParks vehicles, ambulances and police cars...

"Keep your friends close but your enemies closer"

Yes, its listed under the bicycle act.

Its old, but its still use-able.

Only because the gahment want to improve people's health by bicycling then thhey close one eye against this kinda behaviour.
