If u got spare cash, can try the MP3. Think its one of the safest bike around with its 3 wheel. You just go there, say you wan test ride the MP3, they will allow you :)

And ya, you can try the vespa/gilera range of bikes there too

mp3 125 not really fuel efficient for a cls2b

She didn't ask for a fuel efficient bike ;)

Actually hor... the best thing to control fc is yr right hand. I can get 35+km/l when i rev a lot & maxing the engine. On the other hand, i can get 45+km/l (max 48/l) when i dun go beyond 6k rpm & keep btw 60km/h to 80km/h. My ybr drinks caltex 95.

Always be Alert & stay Focused when riding. :)

maybe can try yamaha fino? New bike that people usually mistakes for vespa's new make.

Performance wise, I'm not sure. But there are quite a few ladies riding fino. Cute and cheap I think.

Why not consider that. :cheer:

MP3 should be able to hit 100km/h. To go faster then that i am not sure. You need to ask the sales stuff there. If u got class 2a, can get the 400cc version., comfirm can go faster then 100km/h haha

Honda Wave.. machine price is cheap enough to purchase full cash (2nd hand wave cost $900-$1000 from forumers, 1.2/1.4k from shops). Spare part easy to find and cheap. Maintenance is pretty much close to zero. Fuel consumption easily 48km/L, big storage, no need to use clutch also, so its an easy and relax ride.

Biggest con is small tank lah. But there are shops that can extend the tank. Not a biggie to me. Wave is the best commuter bike - FULL STOP.

I recommend TA200, FC can reach 35km per litre, parts are cheap, can reach up to 140km/h and heavy enough not to be affected by cross wind.

If u like touring to malaysia, TA200 is excellent. I full throttle all the way at 140 km/h and bike still come back in one piece haha. Also heavy vehicle pass by u at high speed, bike will not vibrate as much as smaller bikes.

Only thing bad is the occassion fish tail, but after riding some time u will learn to control the rear brake. And ya for newbies, U-Turning will be a challenge.

Hehehe Phantoms are fun. With a bit of turning a few screws and tinkering here and there, FC can go up to 45km/l.

Or modify your airbox, get a good exhaust wrap (or DIY), 36km/l and pretty darned good 0-90kph performance. I haven't explored anything beyond 100kph (want another set of sprockets for highway sprinting)

Didn't have any issues with fishtailing, though I love using the rear brakes for traction control while playing corner. Yes Phantom can play corner quite well. Super stable :D

It's also a great poser machine, especially customised or with a chrome package.

Nice topic u have here.

Most fuel efficient bikes are or course the 4 stroke bikes.

Take your picks here. Menu ala carte sytle.

Big Tanks (Can last longer mileage per fill-up)

Bajaj Pulsar 180/200 (Made in India)

Honda Tiger200 Carburator

Honda Phantom200 (Made in Thailand) Carburator

Honda CBF150 (Made in China) Carburator

Honda CG125 Carburator

Honda CBR150 (Made in Thailand)

Honda CBR125 (Made in Thailand)

Honda Varadero 125 Carburator

Yamaha YBR 125 (Made in China) Carburator

Yamaha YZF R125

Yamaha YZF R15 (Made in India) EFI

Yamaha FZ150i (Made in Malaysia) EFI

Cubs (Small tanks) (Every abt 2 to 3 days pump once)

Honda Wave125 R,S, I (Made in Thailand) Ver I EFI version

Yamaha Spark 135 RR/RX(Made in Thailand) EFI

Yamaha X1-R 135 (Made in Thailand) Carburator

Yamaha X1 110 (Made in Thailand) Carburator

Yamaha Nouvo (Made in Thailand)

Yamaha Fino

Many ride Bajaj Pulsar but not for me. I am not pro any of the bikes here. As for myself I am riding Yamaha FZ150i. Before this i ride Honda Wave. As years passed by i am getting sicko of the small tank and thus decide to change to Big tanks motorbike with EFI. Now am really happy with the bike and satisfied. :cheeky: Spare parts also can source in Johor.

I was requested to give an opinion on the FZ150i recently and looked up its technical specs.

Great bike! It has EFI so it can run a higher than average compression ratio than carburetted engines without pinging (predetonation - diesel taxi sound, bad for piston).

Efficiency should be greater than Phantom since my bike is dinosaur technology compared to these new ones.
