Hi all, new here and does not know much about bike and need your advice.

Riding downtown 200, first bike

Feel the bike vibrate on and off when between rev 5 and 6 and at 60km/h.

May I know what's the problem here?

My DT battery light keeps lighting up even though the battery was just changed , it comes on randomly and stays on . I was told the problem was with the rectifier / regulator , but the spare cost upwards of 150 at MS .... i decided to skip and buy the original part from ebay and got the part shipped within two days from Taiwan seller. ..its a pretty quick fix ..now working fine ..

Bro when you press the left brake (rear brake) the engine will vibrate is normal as the engine is at the rear. When you brake you are holding the barke and the disc and you can feel the engine vibrate.

Thanks for your advice ,Parotae and Vampgen. Ya, guess i will bring down to Motorsports for a check and hopefully they can still honour the warranty as mine just passed not long. In fact, i 've sent my bike to motorsports for servicing 2 weeks back just before cny.

Another question, i notice every time when i pulled back the left brake lever, the machine tends to vibrate alot. Check with the mechanic and was told its a norm. However, It doesn't vibrate when i pulled back the right brake lever.

The problem here is that DT200 is means for Singapore and it is not official for other countries therefore, at current moment no exhaust manufacturer want to invest on it.

Hi all, any one knows wats the status for the legal exhaust for downtown 200 ??

I am sorry to hear about your ordeal.

Ya my LED was blowing out one by one on one side but the other side is still running well. Mileage 47000km currently.

Then my headlamp blown.

Discovered my rectifier was spoilt causing over charging and blowing the lights out.

Was informed it was over charging up to 18V wow!

Lucky didn't catch fire ha ha.

Was riding up north to cameron when halfway up the bike started to jerk and lost power.

On and off, after reach petrol station and close throttle the engine went dead and all the meter lights was gone.

Lucky travelled in group and got spare battery.

In the end manage to ride back and change the rectifier.

Come to the meetup, we can discuss how to make kymco ownership a pleasant one ha ha.

Hi guys,

I've just got a second hand DT300 (2010 Milage 41000km)from MS and also notice this over volt problem after installing a volt meter. Ilding about 13.5v and when moving off is about 17.5 volts. But so far nothing spoil yet...

Anyway, need to ask a few more questions

1) How high is idling rpm?

2) @ 5k rpm whats the speed?

3) Anyway to check the belt condition by your self?

4) Anyone using aftermarket exhaust? (Any review about it)

5) Can an admin add me into the whatsapp group. Thanks

meter speed will be faster than gps speed by up to 10km/h difference.

in actual fact, it is better to use the meter for accurate speed.

accurate speed of the meter i mean.

eg. meter 100km/h, gps will be around 90km/h -95km/h.
