Diversion's front fork is able to adjust the softness and hardness.

1. Some rider find that even adjust to hard. It feels too soft, so change to medium grade fork oil.

2. Mechanic from HL recommends increase the fork oil from 430cc to 450cc.

So depend how hard you want lor.

Welcome to the Diversion family.....

from your comment, it seems like the x-owner didn't do something to the fork.

most of our fork had been "harden"

u can go Mah motor parts to purchase the oil.

the higher the SAE, the harder the fork will be.

the highest is SAE30(fork oil, not engine oil).

Most of us r using SAE20.

coz too hard will make u :giddy: in long distance travel.

Buggers,

I guess most people would have already half expected this so here goes...(albeit alittle corney :cheeky: )

The day finally came when i parted ways with my Diversion. :weep:

This bike has seen through many of my patches in life, introduced me to many wonderful companions & buggers. It has made me open my eyes to the beauty of world that i've never experienced before. Also it allowed me to fan and sustain the adventerous spirit within.

It has given much more that what i've bargained for.. This bike might not be the best around, but it was certainly the best around for me, NO DOUBT..

How much more can i ask from a bike? I wonder will there be another like this again for me...

Some had asked why move on now when u are enjoying it so much? Well to leave on a 'high' with many of the taste and flavours that is still fresh makes all these memories even sweeter.

This bike has served me faithfully for the since day 1 with no breakdowns whatsoever. Never a doubt that it will do what it was meant to... 'To bring me to wherever i want, safely n comfortably'. And i'm confident it will serve the next owner with equal distinction.

To Rikk, wishing you many happy miles on it... Cheers!

Hi, Diversion Riders...

I would like to ask few questions...

Currently my rear suspension is on 6 turns, what is the best turn should I adjust for comfy riding...Did u guys drop ur fork? If I were to reduce my rear suspension and drop my fork a little bit will it effect the stability of the bike?

I also intend to put the rear crashbar just before the side pinners but SK offer me $300 which i think quite expensive. Do any of divvy riders here fix the rear crashbar? where can i get the cheapest crashbar other than SK?

HL offer me $100 for the one seater moulded plastic, however if i were to buy it, i need to spray it coz come in white color. isit worth buying?

here are some intro abt my divvy...

-bought it on the 18.04.2006

-registered in Oct 2002 (FV Plate) i'm the 3rd owner...

-milleage when i bought is 259++km

-navy blue with side pinners (however pasted stickers liao)

-bike price worth $10 000 (not sure isit the best price for FV plate)

-handle bar raise like TP (bought at HL for $20- DIY myself at my motorshop Sanfu)

-18.05.2006 going to service at HL. Appt made. (coz cant trust bikeshop eventhough they say no need to service for 6 months)

Any comment?
