I like the TP look alike side fairing.

Looks nicer, more protection and can fix 2 x speakers at the fairing. Blast from sing > m'sia > thai then from thai > m'sia > sing. o_O

If I have the spare cash and it cost less than 1k, sure get it fix. Side, front and lower fairing, one and only in sing :lovestruck:

Dear Divvy riders...

I believed that every divvy rider like to fix the side cowling tat cost more than S$2K. Me too like it very much... My TP friend told me tat with the extra side cowling the bike will be more stable compare with the original wan...coz cut wind wan lei...! I believed tat too. I have tried to get the sample of the side cowling but however, was not allow by the staff of FTB(former name) now is called AMED.

Why not we try and find FZ44 and ask him to borrow us the cowling and send for moulding? den we can save alot of money...thoug its nt original..

I have heard tat First Motor at ubi ave can do moulding wan...

I have already ask some of my friend to get the TP look alike contact number if they were to bounce to him. Well 1:10 oni can meet.

I have also ask the in charge person of TP bike to sell me the condemn TP side fairing but this is not allowed. So sad...!

 Hi custom, i need to ask u something, i'm wana install a pair of hella horns onto my honda wave, if successful, will install on my tmax, the specs are 140w for 2horns install together. I understand installation is similar to HIDs. But do i need high tension cables as wiring? And also can take power supply from ingition  These horns are good!

Hi Heyrul^77,

It is a good idea to DIY and save some money.

Not to "pour you cold water"

Base on my knowledge, mould just for afew pieces of fairing is not cheap also.

mass order anyone?

cost less then 1k sgd wor.. looks the same as the TP fairing.. but the freight is gonna cost us..

personally if i have the spare cash i would rather upgrade the front and back suspension to hyperpro, the stock suspension doesnt give me the confidence of riding..

anyway i feel that my jetting is too rich.. the top end feels sluggish.. from the haynes manual i see the pilot screw is hidden IN the carbs.. :nono: whosh... maybe time for tuning??

any gurus care to share which shop that does tuning of our divvys??

Hi Rikk,

For a carb there are 2 jets:

1) Main Jet(1/4-full throttle)

2) Pilot Jet(0-1/4 throttle)

Pilot jets screws are in the carbs... BUT know tt it can b easily reach with a small '+' screw drivers..

Put it on main stand, look at the carbs from underneath and u should see 4 tubular putrusion where the 4 screw are.

No need to open anything.

When it is excessively lean the engine runs really hot, and this being an oil cool bike degenerates the engine oil quickily. Hence IMHO slightly rich is something most would rather, with the colours of the plugs as the best guide to how 'rich' it is... After that it might be a good idea to ask them to do the carb sync as well...

Take good care when fiddling with the settings. Else bring this to any shop and most would be able to do it for a fee.

For the top end sluggishness, consider the fact that aerodynamic drag is proportional to velocity CUBE.. Try removing a few of the accessories with the most drag and you'd definately feel the difference.

Cheers!
