Bought G-power spark plug from Hodaka, known for a replacement of NGK DPR8EA9 (for divvy) .Written at the box also. After replacing my old rusty spark plugs to that, feel that my bike got no power. As if the spark plugs had malfunction.Irregular "burning" effect . Installation of new plugs were inspect thoroughly and everything was fine.

Without hesistation,I went to the rubbish bin and took back my rusty NGK plugs.Install it back and bike back to normal.

That G-power spark plugs are sure not meant for Diversion!

Hi BlackAngel,

Thanks for the infor.. have you checked the gap at the spark plug? If I am not wrong, it should be 0.8 - 1.0mm gap..

Or you can go to AM to get an original Spark Plug for Diversion...

Hi BlackAngel,

Coming after 3 sets, 50,000km of G-Power spark plugs VS 2 sets, 40,000km of standard ones, i actually 'felt' that the earlier was much better. It was, and still, my prefered one.

I have no dyno readings to back up my words but i've certainly never felt that it was any worse than the originals.

My 2 cents...

Due to some unforseen last min work committment, i'd might have to put it on pending 1st...

But instead, why not plan one on ur own, i can help in the planning..

Hey Bats,

We all start from somewhere, i was once a greenhorn, full of intrepedation of the uncertainties. But once u set off by making the 1st move to start planning, you'd realise how fun n satisfying it is.

Anyway the year end trip might still go on, jus need the final confirmation from my boss on the end of year work schedule before committing.

Samui?? Next year May, i'm planning for a 5D4N retreat! Sawadee Samui!!

From what i see on the G-Power plug, the gap was barely noticeable.Seems like it touches the bottom needle...But what the heck, thrown them away already.
