Thank you for your advise. I shall put my order on pending untill i see the sample.

 

With the customised belly pan, can we still install the engine guard.

 

I have no intention of changing the TP handle bar. I can actually bend my elbow comfortably when i ride. Furthermore today i changed to HEL braided horse $200, $300 for a set of brake rotors plates, sbs brake pads......... If the use of TP lionhead demand me to change the handle-bar & all other cables, then i shall need to cancel it.

hi kevin, saw the bike parking at ground floor...anyway i was mesmerized as this bugger crash bar looked solid as it has another horizontal bar across behind the top chassis for reinforce..

 

The bellypan do look fierce boss...but i hope the nose wont be too long...

HELP HELP HELP!!

 

bros...this morning i juz discovered my left side case keyhole missing but the box still firmly secured to the clip lock. Therefore im not able to detach my box from the rack at all unless i unscrew the inner bolt to the lock. Currently, i juz cable tie it to give additional security fearing my box could juz fly away while riding.

 

Im still puzzled but probably due to wear n tear. But my concern is can this lock be replaced or do i have to get a new box???

 

Any advise appreciated... :help:

Hi Kevin,

We all have different type/design of engine guards mounted on the bike. As for the Belly Pan we need to modify it to make sure it seat-in neatly with the engine guards.

 

Our current S4 belly pan have alot of gaps at the sides and back and does not seat properly.

The belly pan we asked- 1stmotor to do, is to make it seat nicely closer to the engine block and stretch back and up covering the lower engine parts to certain length "and not extending the front nose" .

 

On the front of the belly pan the openning will be the same as the S4 but a grille will be added, so it looks better and dosen't look too open.

 

You replace the Hell hose is it a full set including the rear hose or only the front pairs.

We do not need to change the back brake hose to a steel braided hose as it will increase the braking pressure on the rear wheel and may cause skidding on wet surface- If you have replaced it, becarefull... when using your back brake during wet weather.

few of us have this problem before.

This is cause by misalignment of bracket mounting the box.

Believe that u have drop the bike b4.

We had a MO to purchase for the spares b4.

Supplier is in Aust.

The lock cost abt S$50.

My last spare sold to bats liao.

 

U can try motorworld or 219 if they bring in the spares.

 

After u get the spare, u hv to realign back else history will repeat again.

I look forward t the belly pan.

 

THe HEL horse i changed includes front & rear at $200, not including installation. Not only the brake is more effective but i also hope the disc brake wear out evenly. Thanks for reminding me on the rear brake.

 

If the lion-head does not work for me, then i will install the BMW handle-grip guard.

thanks bro Custom for the info....gosh i almost thot need to buy new box..damn..well i agree that the brackets connecting to the lock clips are wavvy for both left & right so that means i need to realign the brackets 1st before installing new locks? btwy where is '219' n is the price $50 per piece or pair?

i check with HKL ..they quote me about $30 to $40 for welding but did not tell me about galvanizing...

 

where is the shop u go for welding?

That time i also found out that my main stand had some cracks at the joint part /-\ . Actually for the past one month i felt my bike very heavy to lift up on main stand. I also duno wat happen as it I suddenly feel that my bike very heavy & i need more strength than before.

After looking at it, SG realised that there's cracks on my main stand. I now have to use my side stand instead of main stand.

What causes the main stand to crack huh?

 

Can anyone explain?
