suggestions for side panniers?

hi peeps,

i've been searching e net for a pair of nice hard side panniers for a cruiser but all i find i think quite small.. anyone knows where i might find something that can at least fit a 3/4 helmet, top opening? think largest so far i find is H&B, but they only open sideways..

Hi, thx for the advices.. gobi styling i think suits ATs and the like more..

givi e top opening not realli v big i think, might end up opening e side more..

 

think i mite go along w tsukayu range of hardbags.. looks quality tho slightly steep.. at least got free shipping to sg..

u will nvr find a hardbag n top case suitable for cruiser bikes here in spore. nvr will. here all u hav r meant for other bikes including all givi boxes (yucks)

 

go buy online more choices. tsukayu one of em. their top case oso looks great.

hmm u'r almost right.. haha

i went to first motor n dey did haf a couple of side hardbags meant for cruisers.. but too bad the dimensions weren't to my liking.. customising would cost me 230 each box, add in bracket n paint or leather wrap think will be quite costly. bracket alone he quoted me 400, fainted.. haha..

 

so.. decided to go w tsukayu.. haha.. their stuff looks gd

haha dey look nice on hamster blur's bike, but i think prolly coz both bike n box sportier outlook.. but i think major set back is dat its side open.. haha

if money is not the problem and its the looks that you are going for,

then there are a few options.

 

1) get the side panniers from Harley

2) kawasaki vulcan nomad also comes with side panniers, maybe can try

3) just order online, you will definitely find what you want.

I ended up with a pair of leather covered fibreglass hardbags from Tsukayu. Slightly pricey but i think the overall quality is good.. would have costed more if i attempted to custom make from first motor.. oh, and the best part is the free shipping! haha.. coz their factory is in HongKong..
