normal faulty case encounter to disc rotor is disc warp..

reason behind it is due to heat generated and wear and tear(thinner rotor)

the result of it is intermediate braking feeling and improper bedding of brake pad(sound will create)..

 

as for the sound, can be collected of too much brakedust at the rotor and the gaps in the brake pads..

 

the grazing and quality of brake pads will oso cause the sound..

rotor refers to the brake disc right?

Ya same thing. Try pushing ur bike to see the squek is still there anot. Also when u squeeze ur brake lever, see if there is any feedback on the brake lever ( brake level will vibrate) . If yes for both case then its time for a change. Brake rotor cost around 270++ for a original single side. Aftermarket one cost ard 255 for both side.

270?! omg.. hopefully the sound goes away haha. id rather bring that 270 to topshop or zara.

Anyway, i went back to the bike shop two days ago that sold me that VRef Stabliser and also that did my Grounding.

 

I told them that their stabiliser they sold me at SGD 75.00 fake de and their grounding is really really lousy... and they admitted sia.:thumb:

 

Fx110... how much it will cost for you to do a comprehensive grounding cum stabiliser. At SGD 100 can?

 

If can, i'll do it once i've done rewiring.... which wil be late next month.

 

 

from last week checkup your wiring,

nothing fault on your wiring :smile:

noneed waste $$$ for it.(but change the new set wiring is recommended)

to diagnose a braking problem hav to look at diff aspect..

thickness of rotor, bedding/grazing of pads, the screws that mount the rotor to the rim, the wear and tear of the rotor(using of index finger and thumb to feel)..

caliper.. forks.... shaft/axle of the rim..

Hi guy i new to cbr 400 and i have a question to ask, if the bike is already start up and i pull the choke the engine die off is that normal?

 

when the engine already warm-up.

left my hurricane at republic motor for valve clearance, service my carbs and replace my tail light to the cbr 1000 integrated one. only getting it back on monday :(

cara kerjanya lebih kurang macam 2nd badminton/tennis player.

berfungsi utk mengurangkan beban bateri (memanjangkan umur bateri juga).

 

yg sy dpt tahu, ada kat pasaran sekarang x mampu buat demikian :sian:

cara nak test ialah buka bateri, pasang voltage stabilizer dan push start.

voltage stabilizer yg bagus, dpt push start dan ride tanpa masalah. :thumb:

tapi utk Prototype III ini sy x try lagi.
