hi all cbr riders... been a member of this forum for sometime but never posted before...

 

just got a CBR400RR R model around two weeks back... cost a bomb... haha... hope to learn more about this bike from you guys and in case i run into trouble which is pretty certain i guess with it being an old bike and stuff... :)

 

anyway just wanted to say hi...

It should be below $120 and below ba.. (Second hand)

i also not veri sure.. Cos tat time i change is fuel filter...

 

But i rem i asked planet moto on ur behalf regrading the pump.. It should be about this price.. Second hand.....

$120 for 2nd hand?

i think i got mine for around the same price for a new 1 leh. but that 1 is long long ago la :sweat:

2nd hand coil is abt that price.. 120 plus..

a new fuel pump is 120 bucks..

2nd hand one, cheaper by half..

pls ask them to check yr fuel filter..

maybe the thing crops up and make the pump to overwork..

check yr pump relay too..

the pump dun work all the time..

it has intervals that the pump is working or resting..

put yr hand on the pump of a gd condition bike.. start the bike.. throttle the bike for a while.. u will understand le..

if lucky maybe there are 99 models arnd also coz mine is a 98 dec registered fq plater

just some general questions on servicing the CBR..

 

 

Change Oil every 5000?

Coolant? - I just bought one whole bottle and poured along with water.. the coolant was empty..

Oil Filter?

Spark Plugs?

 

anything else i need to check regularly?

FM==> 3.5k to 4k

FN==> 3.7k to 4.2k (depend on COE too )

FP==> 3.8 k to 4.5k (reason coe not renew)

FQ==> 4k to 4.5k

 

of cos some bike tt have better part sold it at higher price

anyway my friend had just bought a fq plate one at 4.5k from shop
