actually for the tires, its up to personal preferences...

Some information i found over the internet...

Sportec M1 - The tire's compound is designed to heat up quickly while providing a high degree of grip even at very high operating temperatures. The tread is designed to allow excellent water dispersion with the "negative tread area" lessening towards the tire's shoulder, putting more rubber on the tarmac at extreme lean angles never achieved in the wet.

Battlax BT090 - BT090 is perfect for aggressive riding on both circuit and street. The rigidity of the tyre induces better contact feel in corners, especially for slide control during races. The new compound and pattern offer improved grip and handling in both wet and dry conditions, with better high speed stability and anti-shimmy performance ensuring a smooth ride.

wat u mean by semi touring??

bt 014 is single compound tyre..

some tyre hav 2 diff compound.. hard in the middle and soft by the side..

that one call semi touring.. can tour and corner at the same time..

bt014 is rather gd tyre.. but u hav to constant check the tyre pressure to ensure max performance from it. too soft or hard will cost damage to the tyres rather fast..

u must ask yrself wat is yr riding habit...

like corner alot?? go track?? budget?? wanna hav longer life span tyres??

Bridgestone Battlax BT-014 Radial Tire

*W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph

*High-performance radial with new compound technology from MotoGP tire

*Front tire was compounded and constructed for light handling and improved stability

*Rear tire has new bead construction, steel mono-spiral belt technology and silica-rich compound for high-speed stability and excellent grip on the road

*Innovative tread design improves traction, shock absorption, wet road performance and reduction of noise

Overall i think BT014 is more suitable for 600cc and above (jus my personal view)
