Okay, so I guess most people are not going on 25th (except maybe honam). That's okay, because I don't want to embarrass myself also. :cheeky: Must re-familiarize with the track first.

26th I may not be going, because my track buddy tourer84 is jio-ing me to go on 27th. Going 3 days in a row is a bit too taxing on my body (and my wallet).

ah_ong, if you see the white CBR (looks like my signature pic), that's mine. Clifford is reliable lah, no prob one.

any one knows e estimate cost to do up re-wiring and 4 plug cable at k&t? :cheer:

I think you should give Clifford a call. I can't recall the prices lah. Also, if your wires and cables are still okay, he will tell you that they don't need to be changed. But of course if you insist, he will do it lah.

Just want to check, has anyone here mounted the CBR600F3 shock onto his CBR400RR? I want to know where you mounted the remote reservoir. I am trying to find somewhere more discreet yet accessible, and not have to extend the hose.

I have on my fireblade back home, I got the reservoir hose extended and mounted it up the back under the pillion seat. You could try getting the reservoir back behind the battery box ( that is where mine is mounted on my bike here as I didn't have time to get the hose extended).

Depending on how much hose you have could also try behind the exhaust hanger.

Haha no offence taken or meant, just wanted to help you understand how it worked so you could make your decision with all the right knowledge and not waste money that could be used for something else!

I am wondering how removing the baffle could fail the hydrocarbon emission test because the exhaust system doesn't have a catalytic converter in the first place. I am more worried about failing the noise emission test. My GPR exhaust has removable baffle which I will put back on for inspection. Maybe I should keep a stock header just in case.

From your avatar picture, I suppose you have the HRC CDI for your NC29. Do you know where I can get my hands on one? So far they are ridiculously expensive new (from UK) or hard to get (from Japan).

i also don't know why it failed the hydorcarbon emission test, maybe it's due to the straight through exhaust and the 110 main jets which provided a richer fuel/air ratio... but mine failed twice before and i found a way to pass it. (install the stock endcan and adjust the idle as low as possible when you go for inspection)

Advisable to keep your stock endcan for any future use... and i don't think tat you need a stock header as the stock endcan is enough for you to pass the noise test...

i do have a Japan HRC CDI(EK2) installed on my NC29, and i got it from a friend... if i'm not wrong he's a friend of Zero too...

u need to check whether if its the little white plastic thingy give way( its slot into the front sprocket) or the cable itself snapped.

Tat plastic thingy cost less than 10 bucks. Cable... erm i guess not more than 18.
