Pissed off

I just bought a bike on this 4th april at M1 Motoring, Kembangan. 2nd hand TZM. Already broken down twice. Every time repair they say no major prob. Bt twice bike stalled in the middle of the rd cannot move. So pissed off. Any other wat i cn do abt it????

cannot start issit bro??? change ur batt adjust 2t valve change new plug.... still got prob try change ur plug coil..... if all fail throw ur bike at shop owner.... jus my dua puluh sen

go another bike shop get it checked.reccomend planet motors at ubi.

Feel sad for you but pls dun post every where. Bring the bike to another workshop and fix it. It may occur extra cost but that might be the only way out. Good luck

my fren TZM always need to kick a few time before actualy pulling the choke leh,or is it you are running lean.main problem always the powervalve.bro ,or you can try to describe,maybe the other forumers can help you rectify the problem.some in the forum more likely know these problem.just specify lorrr.

Bro. I went to that shop before. Then i act blur blur. There was a 10 year old RXZ and a 13 or 15 years old RXZ. One of the salesmen wanna sell me the 15 year old RXZ. He say will make everything new again. Say my 3rd party insurance about 1.3 to 1.5K. Total 4K for the whole bike. I never wanna go back to that shop again. He can sell me the 10 year old rxz but wanna sell me the 15 year old one. As far as i know insurance for 10 and 15 year old bike same. Sigh.

 

And from what i think from what you say is that they are trying to "temporarily" fix the problem until the warranty over then they give you their full force. Possible.

1.ask them to solve the problem for you.there warrenty right?

 

2.spent $ to solve outside.which i feel better.

 

2nd bikes is like that cannot blame if want good tip top condition get a newer bike.

Keep going back to them until they cannot tahan anymore. Possible you ask them to change with another 2nd hand bike.

thanks for all ur advice and replies. appreciate it. The bike is nw back at the shop, jus towed again today. It stalled meaning it stopped suddenly and cannot start again no matter hw much i tried. Will try to get it repaired while it's still under warranty...

Thanks for ur reply. I believe u might be rite. They jus stalling till the warranty is over. I cant believe such ppl still exists...whether 1st hand or 2nd hand, it's still money that we are paying. They should do their job properly. Anyway, any gd reputable motor repair shops u can recommend?? Im definitely neva going bk there once warranty is over....

Btw, anyone who might be kind enuf to come down to the shop and hav a look at the bike wif me. Could reli use a gd eye to look at it and guide me as to wat i could ask the mechanics to repair and check....

ah bo go TZM forum, ask a few of them to view your bike and test your bike.. they will identify any problem that they have kanna before.. just my 2 cents..

IF M1 and still under warranrty , just send back to them untill they sian....Get ur salesman to help to force mechanic to do intrusive check:)

Deepest condolences bro.. I also encountered a bit similar problem like yours.. All these "reputable" motor shops bull **** 1 la,, when I buy they say give me 2 mths warranty.. Once got problem nia go back the sales person couldn't even b bothered.. Ask the mechanic the best thing they can do is say put bike down,, once ready will call.. God damn idiots.. Ask them roughly when ready, they say no guarantees... How can do business like dat..

 

In the end I pull back my bike to dealer to do all the necessary repairs.. Cost me so much bombs... But at least I still can ride... If not I think until now the bike is still at the shop waiting to b repaired.. Or I should say, wait until 2 mths warranty finished liao then charge $$... Then come back 1 whole round, its the best dat I pay few thousands for a ride to ride with SMRT and SBSTransit...

You buy ur 2nd hand bike 4K plus I bought my 1st hand CBF 150 6k plus and never had any prob with it, on top of that got a strong sense of belonging for this bike cos its mine from the start, nobody else "used" goods.

 

Not say this to suan you, but a lot of "expert" here recommend newbie to buy 2nd hand bike so if accident won't so heart pain, but looking at your experience, do you think its worth to save the 2K plus for an old and problemetic bike? Plus stalling on the road is damn dangerous, even if you don't accident the bike make sure you accident.

 

Always buy first hand, esp if the difference is only 1-2k...
