Some stuff need to be changed due to common wear n tear..

 

nicely explained from a fellow 2 stroker.. till u own a 2 stroke, u wont know how unpredictable n cranky the bike can get.. its like having a bike with PMS.. even i have yet to fully understand her.. hope the new owner will..

internally done.. cant help comparing with a runner pick up.. haha.. fast enuf, but can be better.. top end of course hard la coz the body design.. hopefully end of this mnth outlook done..

 

btw any of u guys wanna design ur bike can pm me.. i can help designing if im free.. my hobby.. still have the runner templates which me n fren drew using rhino software..

The meaning of the number codes for reference. (candles)

 

I advise you to use candles NGK. They are very good and it is the most common. There are all sorts of models that can be used on both engines compet as engines of origin.

 

But that utiser for your engine? B8HS, B8EV, B10EGV ...

 

Let me explain the meaning of the names of NGK candles is a code. There are 4 parts.

 

B 9 ES

 

 

B The first letter indicates the diameter of threads. It was:

It ignites the gas directly. It consists of a center electrode, drowned on the major part in a insulating material which has the appearance of porcelain.

At the upper end of the electrode is a central pillar Point threaded which allows contact with the spark plug wire. The cap of the candle is embedded in the insulation and provides support for the candle in the breech.

The seal is made by a joint metal.

At its end is a second electrode grounded, which departed from the central edge of a few tenths of mm. The spark will happen between those two points.

 

It defines the names of candle by "hot" or "cold":

 

A hot candle rapidly absorbs heat and retains as long as the engine is running. Its operating temperature is relatively high. It provides easy departure. It is not recommended for the engine turning at high speed and at high speeds.

 

A cold candle wicks heat quickly and avoids self-ignition. Its main drawback is that it quickly increase small sailing. It is therefore recommended for high performance engines.

 

In competition, for example, we can use a hot candle to mount the engine temperature and a candle cold for the race.

i sold mine for 1.5k.. can check my sales thread.. but 2stroke is an old bike so for 1.5k make sure the bike is working condition.. possibly with receipts.. coz the bike mostly internal n cant see without opening it.. so need some kind of proof..

 

better a smooth riding bike which looks like apek than a cool looking bike but inside fcuk up..

 

maintainance wise to me not so la.. unless u want more performance like some the guys here..
