I got stop by TP twice with bluetooth headset on.

Took off my helmet and plug out from both of my ears and leave my earpiece

dangling. TP never say anything. They just do normal rountine. Check inusrance and

Driving license only.

Once Done, plug both ear piece in, wear helmet and ride off..

Is driving with a BT or ear-piece wrong ?

Answer is NO!! So wats wrong with listening to music while riding.

Our law also never state that it is an offence.

TP will only stop u say if u are not able to control ur vehicle due to tis.(reckless/dangerous driving or riding).

As long as you are in control of ur bike, riding w one hand is ok too but of course if u see TP than don't do that la.Anyway wats so fun abt one hand riding ? Tiring i say.

Actually if everything TP want to catch there will be no ending and i assured u one will quit being a TP after 1 day on the job.Just an example,

Eg.My frd once got caught riding for failure to signal. He try explaining cocking reasons such as its too bright he did signal but TP never see etc...of course no accept la, appeal also no use.

When he told me i ask him faster go buy 4D for his bike, if TP really want to catch all this, he easily can issue over few thousand ticket everyday (How many times we saw car turning or lane changing w no signal indicator ?)

So its all depend on the TP, therefore act smart when u saw one.if need just slow down and let them pass u.

there's helmet with built in stereo and music very clear. Nolan helmets has it. i think its system called N.comm. simply plug your mp3 to the helmet and you can listen through its built-in speaker. there's also a bluetooth technology system but much expensive. Helmet ard $300+ and the basic N-comm less than $150.

Has it ever occured to you that whatever you play in a car just adds to the ambient sound? Yet, it is simple to turn up/down or even switch off when necessary. And even if you insist on loud sound, you have four wheels and a cage to protect you.

On a motorcycle, one has to heavily rely on eyes and ears just to ensure safety of own a$$. Add wind noise factor to it (the strength depends on a helmet) and you will understand how 'not very smart' to listen to anything other than 'the road' and the engine even when using ear-plugs. Add the element of distraction (how do you control your player which is in your backpack or pocket?) and get the idea.

I sincerely hope you would not have to learn the basics the hard (and painful - ouch!) way..

Ride Safe!

Don't know about ear pieces, but I now wear earplugs when I ride. My Arai FF helmet is like an amplifier. :sian: I'd been riding without earplugs since I got my 2B license, and my hearing has definitely suffered. Also, helmet wind noise hurts my ear canals and drums.
