seen the item in first week of december.

Its more expensive coz it not only monitors your voltage, it also has a temperature sensor to show your engine temperature. I think monitoring the temp can tells you your coolant level & whether your radiator is fouling & need flushing etc.

Just got the rectangular voltmeter earlier at Looi's motor. Think its the last piece. But sad to say that was not able to install at the same time as the shop was closing. :weep:

i got mine (Autogauge) at LAB for $27 w/o installation. They charge $15 for labour so i think DIY better.

i think the one u mentioned 7colours is Timex Voltmeter. not too sure on the price.

Does Ah Boy have the "L" bracket to install the voltmeter

I bought the Auto gauge Model 36091SWL (Tinted) for $45 and chrome holder for $17

and I will need the bracket to install

Thanks :giddy:

mine came with the L-bracket...how come urs didnt

I bought the chrome holder from the car accessories shop at Syed Alwi road.

It come with a short "L" bracket but I will need another "L" bracket to extend it to fir to my bike so the meter is facing up. Mine is a phantom

By the way when you install the meter, use some silicon on the rim of the meter and holder to make it waterproof so the inside of the wiring will not short because of rainwater seeping into it.

its pretty simple...jus join the orange n red together, join those 2 to another wire if not long enough n find a 12volt power source n tap it from there...the black wire secure it to any part of the bike metal structure..

if u need help PM me..i might be free to help out.
