@Alvin. Nice specs. F my keychain cam fail think will buy urs HD model. Share link?

@lycan. Idea sia. Lol

But I can c some issues. pvc will deform under prolong period of sun and rain. And also e stains. E "fastening" of e camera is not connivence. Dun forget tat handlebar space is usually tight. :)

lastly most action cams i think come with handlebar mount. ^^ or buy a cam tat has e standard screw hole then buy a ram mount for cameras. 30+

I am using it as a rear cam...

So not using the handlebar mount...

Currently using 3M dual lock for the mounting...

As for front cam,i am using gopro hd1 with ram mount on my handlebar brace...

Will share the link later tonight when i get home...

Its new. Tested working. All in tact. Cables everything is there. Even a low grade 2gb memory card was given to me with a surf board mount.

My luck ar. My trainer did not get to use this so he sell it off. 2 mins post out ads at fb. I saw. I grab.

I tried ebay but mounts are limited.

I m also trying to figure out to mod the unuse surfboard mount to my ram mount but now where do i mount my gps? Haizzzzz

Not sure what bike you are riding but my super 4 handlebar is exactly the same as the one the video so mounting won't be a problem. (:

This DIY mount is so cheap. At least I won't feel heartache when someone tamper/steal it unlike ram mount. :D

Too many thieves around.

@aDesmond. Gz. I just bought micro sd 8gb. $10 challenger

@lycan. Becoz i c e video once u finish e diy mount, it is not easily removeable. Then e part where u screw on ur cam is twist twist type. So if e space is limited then maybe more trouble to put on or remove.

I riding fz1. Feel tat my handlebar quite pack even though nothin mounted now. :)

Try to buy a Class 10 SDHC card if you are planning to record in FULL HD(1080p) to prevent loss of frame.

You can check out House Of Mouse at esplanade xchange. I recently bought a 16GB Class 10 Sandisk for only $19.90. Even cheaper than the last IT Show. :D

16gb saw $20. Anyway i buy 8gb becoz i dun think i will record super long duration since battery is an issue too. So i will clean up daily or every 2 days depend on e rate of usage. My car video cam is roughly 1gb 1hr for svga quality.

Yup.. I'm lazy to clear videos.. thus just record and record only.. whahah.. maybe once a week or etc.. one day around 1 hr on the road, to and from.. :)

Nice! Thanks! Will check out the stores either tonight or tml.. tonight rush home and dig all my micro SD and see if I have anything 32GB anot.. :p

I daily computer user. And becoz high chance need charging once per 2 to 3 days so might as well clear. ^^

Do take note of ur camera specs. Not all cameras can support 32gb. My cheapo keychain cam on paper only 8gb but got other cheaper version can 32gb. Lol.

I recorded liao without mounting on helmet. Stay tune for review!!

@amzil. Yes? But if certain formats, youtube can convert for u. But usually i will edit and remove excess and add comments.

@All.

Head Jerking Action

Fairly clear

Held by hand onto Left side of my Chin (Roughly the position I will be mounting onto my helmet)

Video is side way so apologise for Neck Aches =D

File size of 13 seconds is 7.5mb

In another longer video, when I hold still, can capture the number plate clearly (Suitable for my purpose to catch other motorist and to a certain extent sufficiently serves as safety)

Will test ride a few days and post more reviews. If good will get another for rear action. ^^

After you have recorded your video on the road. You will upload the whole clip or edit and keep only the "highlight(s)"?

For me, I will edit and only upload the "special" parts as I don't wanna waste time uploading a Full 1080p clip.

You can try using vReveal(Paid) or the free Windows Live Movie Maker(which greatly reduced the quality of my 1080p clip.) and save/export video to .mp4/.avi/.wmv

.mp4/.avi/.wmv can be easily uploaded to youtube. Some applications like vReveal has the option to share to youtube directly.

Now pls remember to upload a short part before e actual "highlight" for cases where e motorist is like playing pr bullying u.

This is to prevent cases where pple will comment tat something may ve happened before this "highlight" thus e motorist is out for revenge rather than being lousy to begin with. :)
