Video sample of RD32ii. Will upload a night video when possible. Today was raining but for some reason the front part of my rain journey was missing thus unable to sample the quality during rain.

Bro, the action camera u installed am i right in saying the video quality is better in the rear than in the front? Also the color is slightly different..

I saw the video a friend of mine posted in and watching via a PC is way better than viewing it mobile. Its more clearer. E.g car no plate can be clearly seen from the rear camera on stationary.

On moving it seems just abit hazy.

 

I tot this model motoworld is selling is in HD but i guess im wrong.

I am uploading another of bigger size. Hope it will look better. Or do u mean YT will provide a HD version? E original video file i can watch on computer full screen with nice color and fps. But once uploaded on YT it became crap. Lol

Power observation. U r really good, i review on computer the original file also difficult to see. But "Really dun ve." ^^ Hope u can delete the picture. Dun raise questions. Xie Xie.

 

I look at the YT video manager. All the videos i directly published to YT is "HD" but the first is really crap. 2nd is better.

 

The below is another of which i saved to computer first then upload to YT. In video mgr is not HD but seems to look better.

Hmm i find the YT version regardless of which size i publish directly or the version which i save on computer before upload. All has like degraded color and quality. Maybe is just my eyes. =X

anyway, i ordered the yellow rd32ii cam since i just wanna try out 1st and pricing also cheaper than the black by usd4.70. i planning to mount it on top of my helmet. what i'm afraid is that the mounting in the accessories pack is quite flimsy and it cant withstand a certain speed resulting in my cam flying away :lol:

there is a latch at the bottom of the camera so i'm afraid that it wont stick securely to the double sided tape part of the 3m duo lock velcro. if i dun use the mounting provided, i wont be able to adjust the angle when i mount it on top of the helmet

this is how i attach my camera. velcro on both sides.

 

previously was on the center top of the helmet interior, but it can't stick due to lack of flat surface. now i put on the side, more surface area, is holding up well.

 

only issue is the angle you must know how to adjust or else it will end up filming too much of the sides, i tried 3 times, finally got it to record on center nicely. but video has quite an amount of headshake, maybe my helmet too big or i shake my head too much when riding.

Additionally some pros/cons.

 

Pros:

- The charging light indicator will go off when it is fully charged =D

- Today rain again. Pleased to say that the video is not super degraded due to the rain water and gloomy lightning.

 

Cons:

- I think 8 GB is not sufficient for normal 2 trip a day usage. This camera has the auto loop function where if the memory card runs out of space, it will auto delete old. And this is the reason y my very 1st video of raining day went missing. The very first video of today was also missing and base on rough estimation, it was auto deleted to make space. (Will be buying a 32GB later)

- After using a few days, i can feel the weight

 

PS: 1 day will consolidate the points i made somewhere.

If i nv rmb wrongly,the constant loop is on because your camera is set to security camera mood...

Normal video recording mood it shld not loop record...
