the cheapest way will be to get someone who is going to US to bring back for u. alternatively, there are ppl selling in garage sales that are cheaper than local retailers.

 

Silver edition will be good enough for recording local riding.

Actly the price is standardized in every country and not allowed to import frm 1 country to another. For example u cant order direct frm Amazon, but u can do it thru those forwarding service like comgateway, BUT the shipping can be the killer and end up u dont save much. Worse still no local warranty.

i'm not sure if the problems listed here applies to all edition or only the black edition.. these are just some of the problems that my fren told me abt and also what i've seen

 

1. constantly encountered "sd errors" when using 64GB class 10 micro sd card (i only using 32GB card so cant cfm if this problem applies to all edition)

2. i have seen his black edition hang while recording halfway (nvr encountered this problem b4 on my silver edition)

3. when turning on, his black edition will show a hazard sign with a bike logo b4 it will go into the video mode (nvr seen it b4 and also dunno what it means)

 

 

1. Yeah confirmed by goPro themself.

2 & 3. Sometimes it happens to me when off road when it is very hot. I tried using the non enclosed case seems to go away liao.

Just experienced this auto-off problem on my white edition. Reformatted the card in the camera and problems seems to be gone for nw. Battery was still full. So i guess to play safe reformat the card whenever start fresh recording.

It can be edited with the software they provided..like can map it with/without time stamp, video resolution, Video bitrate, frequency etc...Reached our shore within 2 weeks for me..i usually mount it on the bike front fairing "nose" and sometimes helmet.. they sell the mountable holder separately, can find them in their ebay store..below is the link..the one which i got is their latest product and the quality is upgraded than their other keychain cam. The company i got them from are really helpful bunch and i would recommend them if ur looking for a basic day to day cam...

Hey guys. How is the warranty like for GoPro ar? Want to buy a set from the US. Warranty I would have to send it back to US right? I heard for local sets they do the same and mail back to the states for repair all those?
