Sry but i duno how come my thread is closed. aniwae, as what SV650 said,

"Hi saDdy_J,

I guess one year later after obtaining 2B license, chances is that most riders would get their class 2A. And that's a very big temptation to resist for not upgrading to a bigger bike. If you think you have a chance of upgrading to a class 2A bike one year down the road, then it is financially wise that you buy a 2nd hand bike after getting your license. I would suggest that you try looking for bike around 1-3years old so that the bike won't give you much maintenance problem, that is if your budget permit.

Second hand bikes varies quite a bit depending on factors such as age of bike, paint work and most importantly, how eager you appear right at the door step of the bike shop. I'm not able to give comment on the price range as I'm not familiar with it. Rough guide, spend sometime checking out the bikeshops and search around in the forum for bike sales.

Have fun riding and shopping for your new toy. "

firstlt, can i ask how to determine the age of the bike by looking at the nos plate? secondly, i did some research on ******************* and found that some aprilia bike sold ard $7000+, which their bike is register year 2005 like tt. Seem kind of ex for me. lastly, sry fren, what u mean by "how eager you appear right at the door step of the bike shop."? is it importantly. Thanks fren.

bikes of diff makes differ in popularity and sales. you cannot determine the age of a bike by the number plate accurately even if you are familiar with the order of no. plates eg. FA plated bikes to FZ or FBB because bike owners can choose to change their no. plates with LTA at a fee. If you are over eager to buy a bike at any particular shop, your chances of getting conned are higher as an impulse buyer is more prone to making bad purchasing choices.

If you need to find out more about 2b sport bikes in particular, please use the Search function and browse through the Bike Specs and Reviews Section. Sport bikes in particular are in the Sport Bikes Section. You can also read up on the threads in the New Riders Information Hub. Your thread was closed because these same questions have been asked many times already.
