From that, I'm assuming you are looking into adapting your calipers onto a non-standard front fork for your bike?

looking to adapt not-stock 4 pot (brembo/Nissin) calipers to original forks.

Oem 2 pot is a bid terrifying to say the least.

But what makes it hard is that you have do the designing and drawing yourself to be given to them for actual fabrication.

 

I guess what makes Seng Kwang special is that you can skip the designing part. They will do the best possible fabrication based on your requirements and you'll have to leave your bike there.

 

I'm also trifling with the idea of adapting a radial caliper onto my standard-mount conventional fork.

how they know the bracket cfm can fix the caplier???

they will need to get the right position to fix the bracket on the disc.. experience people will know..

 

 

last time first motor(ubi) they do fabrication of brackets, but e guy no longer working there.. i HEARD he now working at mezzo which is beside motoworld(eunos/ubi) can look for him..

i have a source where i can purchase direct for jus about the slightly higher than qouted.Only problem is,i cant read Japanese.

quite a good price.. i was quoted about $90 to install brembo 4 pot.. but a change of nissin 4 pot to brembo 4 pot rather than your situation of 2 pot to 4 pot..

the motor shop diagonally opposite say if i change it wont be much of a diff.. so sk say dun waste my $$..

Most ppl thinks Nissin is a lesser brand than that of Brembos.

I personally sees it as a marketing genuis of brembo,thats all.

4 pots-4pots is a total waste of money too.No diff.

 

remember S4 ver S with brembos?Why is it Nissin now?

Its more of who shall tender their product the cheapest.

What product is readily available.B4 there was only Nissin

then came tokicos brembos now braking so on an so forth

 

Brakes work in SUM OF ALL PARTS.

 

I have a Nissin on hand but it needs so fabricating.I have a source for Brembo and aftermarket adapters.

 

jus weighing my options on what will be the least intrusive and cheaper

this is a difficult balance,which i hope ypu guys can share heads with.

mine is 90 for 1 side if i didnt remember wrongly. anyway they were not so willing to do it for me. so mine is 90 + 90.. not sure if they help me install the caliper as well.. and i haven add the cost of caliper and/or any servicing/workmanship/misc fees required. so decided not go to ahead and do it anyway.

 

yup, brembo does their marketing well.. and many pple swear by it. i nv used their calipers before so i wouldnt know.. yeah y only ver S is with brembo?
