To all who attended last nite meetup,i wana say a veri Big Thank You for taking time off yr hectic schedule jz to b with peeps who share d same passion.I was touched n overwhelmed dat i did a grave mistake in counting d number of dukes,sorry bro fesa,ive never seen a gathering of such proportion dat i jz forgot my 1 2 3,it was a genuine slip up,seen a number of new faces n I warmly welcome you to this group,nice sharing session amongst d group,lol

One of the hot topics about taking a pillion on the 848s & 1098s.... U guys are missing the point! Yr superbikes are not really built for pillion comfort or yr balls' protection...

Can be done. My friend pillioned his wife on 1098s and did 1500km within 4 days 3 nights road trip. Uncomfortable as it is. If focus the mind and soul on other things during the ride, nothing is impossible to achieve.

Mr Wong not higher spec den the S wait the 1198s pll not happy haha . Just tot that rather than buying a S I could slowly change the parts and go through the learning process . And believe me, I learnt alot !!

Maybe after I change my rims and get the bazzaz zifi den is on par with the S . Well ultimately mine is still a base

Bro, things not cheaper, though they should be because no GST there and HK dollar pegged to the US$. Ducati showroom is small but worth a visit. Almost all bike shops are on kowloon side. Best one for accessories is Moto mart http://www2.ibike.com.hk/client/?client=motomart

 

Sometimes they have some specials on helmets/dainese etc. that are better than here. Don't be worried when you get out of cab and look at the store (looks tiny), you go up the stairs and the showroom is huge.

 

ibike is a good site for learning which stores have what.

Er.........the way you put it.....so the way LTA and TP is witch hunting on the ducati and harley, should i feel that i shouldnt ride in Singapore with the termi then? On the contrary i feel 110% safer to ride on Malaysia road than here. I will make sure i get my passport stamped, the white card is filled up, give my 2 index fingerprints and pay the bike toll. If i am not sure, i will ask and shall not leave the custom until i have done the necessary paper work to enter their country.

I agree mate. But then again the superbikes are meant for track usage and how many of those sold here actually get to smell the track?

u guys 're blessed to 've a pillion seat.

my 916sps comes with only 1 seat!

all sportbikes 're compromise if u take a pillion but ideally if u 've the molah,u can 've 1 for touring,1 for the track & 1 for posing on friday nite session.

it all depends what tickle your fancy,saw some dude rode their sportsbike with gf(probably not)all the way to hat yai !

ducati 're NOT for transport , its for making a statement!

to keep yr pride&job crisp/fresh , u gotta to 've an alternative mode of transport ,

eg like x1r/odssey,etc

my 13 yrs 916sps sound like Armageddon , when i fired her up,dat evening.
