fluff > this is not me wanting to spend, this is me having to spend....so far,all the money i've spent on the bike is for maintainence only....no cosmetic or internal mods have been done yet....

i spend only to repair damaged parts n to maintain working ones....

haha sure. what's wrong with your speedo? if there's a problem with the accuracy, i think that's the way it's meant to be :cheeky: don't think any of us classic vespa riders have speedometers that are accurate.

oh, accuracy is not the problem..

i know that 2b bikes have inaccurate speedos..

the problem with mine is that it doesnt work...

and that goes for my odo too..

oh haha i think most riders will just heck it cos you learn to gauge your speed after a while. :cheeky: that's something i never learnt though, gauging my speed. haha when i first got my bike and joined the guys on a ride up to Mersing, i went at around 110 km/h thinking i was going at about 70 or so cos i throttled till my speedo read 70 and hovered there. left all the guys behind wondering what's up with me

fluffpuff> wah ur bikes fast eh! 110km/h. Racer gerl. haha. Can tell me ur secret for gg fast? i onli achieve that speed after 2 blown seal, 2 piston seizure and a damaged engine case. hahaha

ehh yar my bike can go quite fast haha heard from ah joo and aziz that my engine is very powerful. i really don't know the secret to achieving a fast bike technically haha as for me, i don't actually enjoy going that fast, it's kinda scary. just that i was a newbie then and i was afraid of holding up the rest behind so i just throttled my way up till my speedo read 70. little did i know i was actually going so much faster. i know, i know. very silly indeed. i got teased mercilessly for it already haha

fluffpuff, your bianca is not called a sprint if it is not fast....

that's why i call my scoots sprinty!!! zip around fast and neat....

just that our 3-legged fork sucks at stopping...

Hehe...fluffpuff...racer gurl aka iron horse lady :cheeky:

Yup, I do recall that particular day when you were sprinting down the roads of Johor, as if, your backside was on fire...haha!

Well, it was a great experience for you and the rest of Aj Scooter riders.

Your Bianca has a good engine and has reasonably good speed. But we are all glad that your car driving experience has somehow balanced your ability and the given road skills to control "her" better.

Always remember that, "Power is NOTHING, Without CONTROL"

And you are also right to point out that, the classic and vintage speedos are inaccurate. And dont worry la Bel, you are Not a "Crazy" girl.

Cheers

However, i used to purposely ebrake - step hard on your rear brake (not on mainroad though)....

your scoots will drift one side (cos one side is heavier than the other bcos of the placing of the engine)...like drifting....but rear tyres wear out pretty fast....

DONT TRY...it is just the silly habit of mine...
