hi intan...nice to have another lady chatting here on aj's thread

we have a couple of guys wanting to sell their px's.

i was told that one of them(chung7x) wants to 'upgrade' to a vintage model.

i'll get him to respond to you soon.

and yes, i am sure the boys did notice a group of lady riders, passing by them on the taa charity ride...hahaha

hope you can join us for a ride soon.

good to have other lady riders on scooters along as well

its a vbb-150.

Have ordered a 132 and a 135 from Beedspeed UK... Plug chops with a 130 in are still coming up rather too white for my liking... am hoping th new exhaust will improve things (given that it is properly designed etc)... Fingers crossed, it ships from the UK today.

are there four iskandars in ajscooters?? wow haha i only know isk junior and isk senior anyway my bike's now at roda dua awaiting spray painting after queuing for a month at ah joos i decided to have it done at roda dua instead cos jass promised he could settle the paintjob in a week or so and i really want my bike to be ready before CNY. anyway, i decided to settle for a two-tone! white and pink! wish me luck peeps, hope the color doesn't turn out garish or tacky!

 

and ah joo's shop looks soooo much nicer now. he should have fixed up display units a long time ago.

Yeah Vigano... Am waiting for the scorpion exhaust to arrive... Hopefully it'll be a majic fix to my woes... as at the moment the scoot is rich at lopw revs and lean at highrevs.... So, I'm just avoiding long stetches of 110km/h expressway riding at the moment.

sharpey > whoa.....not to good there.....but it's possible to rectify it with the right sized jets right?it's just that you couldn't get hold of the right sized ones....

Thanks Tazzy. I have actually sold my S-4 to my hubby then bf, so I only ride occassionally when he's outstation or when I go out with gf's.

 

I thot riding Vespa would be cool... It would also be easy for shopping and if I want to wear skirt or sarong...

 

In the meantime, I will also go down to AS Phoon to check on new models. Hopefully this weekend, it's difficult to go around when we have no tpt...

cephelix... yeah sort of... but am currently using the 130 main, the biggest that is sold locally.... I have ordered a 132 and a 135, but to be honest, 130 is pretty damn big already... many other folks with a setup similar to mine are using 128 jets.... So, in essence, I fear there may be another cause of this white plug nonsense!

 

Tuning is a complicated and long process. Enter with caution.

and yeah...i realise tuning is complicated..that's why i'm going to do it together with the exhaust...after i properly tune it,i'm gonna spray my exhaust...

set aside a whole day for it..maybe even 2...

Um... an airleak can cause a white plug... but that will also cause the engine idle to race (classic airleak is diagnosed by a racing idle speed)... but a small leak at the base of the cylinder might be to blame....

 

Timing that is too far advanced can also cause a white plug

 

 

LEAN = white....

RICH = black...

 

Advanced Timing, lean Jetting, and air Leaks all make things lean.
