Did anyone here watched aj scooters chinese new year charity ride

on suria news last sunday.

not bad ah...it showed our guys roving the highway and handing out 'hong bao's' and

oranges to the old folks.

and singing the gong xi fa cai song to all the honoured guests there...hahaha. cool

cool ah you guys, just sad i could not make it.

i am sure he will ask you soon enough

we will depart from the shop at around 1030am and estimated time to arrv back to singapore

around 8pm

i think they plan to have dinner on the return leg somewhere in jb

will check with aziz or isk snr to confirm.

great to hear that the event was a success ... saw the news that night ... and our very own famous Mr Ramle ( SOG Singapore ) was interviewed ... and lead the new year song ... kinda cool to see him organise the charity ride with AJ scooter ...

as from Simply Scooter side ... we send our Lambretta rep to the ride .. Mr Ansley.... most of them working that day ... next year i hope we join in .....

and yes ... do check the classic thread r having some mini wkshop this 25th feb ... its a small meet up but it'll gain everybody .. sharpey and me will host this meet up ... we will share info on the basic troubleshooting on ur beloved vespa .... this will help u solve minor prob on roads like clutch cable snaps,what to do whe engine suddently dies off,what to do when ur throttle suddently jam while riding ...

if u have nothing on that day .. why not join us

Hi Aziz and Tazzy (hey it rythmns!) and all AJ scoots!

 

I need a favor from you guys.

 

I have a business partner of Piaggio looking for a rider with a

neat looking vintage White Vespa, yes, preferbly a very very classic one.

 

She needs it to do bridal shoots which require this white vespa to be "modelled" with the bride at Botanic Garden. i heard that the rider might (just "might") need to pillion the bride (i have no idea whether she is beautiful anot? ) in some point of time.

 

the date is 10th March 2007, time should be around 6pm and probably last about an hour. Of course, this rider will be conpensated. How much? hehe, i have yet to know, but definately will not "lugi".

 

Gotta need you guys' help to find me this rider.

mr vigano...thank you for your compliments....yes, thank you very much!

and just as not to steal the 'thunder' from our very good friend, mr ramle...from sog.

he was an invited guest at our charity ride and so was your so called mr ansley of simply scooters.

they are after all 'patrons' at jin cheng motors.

 

because of certain unnamed characters...we only do invites these days for any of our rides.

reasons???

these 'stars' seem to enjoy to taking all the credits(when all they do is come for the ride and try to look good) from the 'real' hard working organisers.

quite a regular occurance, i would say.

i am sure you would know what we here are talking about.

 

 

also, our guys actually did not want to be in the limelight on sunday and thats one of the reasons why aj's boys and gals wasn't featured on tv.

like i mentioned in my earlier message...our charity ride is about sincerity and helping the needy.

its not about being which club is the oldest club in singapore, nor does it have to do with a club having the best scooters.

 

its nothing personal...just getting things straight and making sure the scooterists in sbf

understands the situation and also the facts right.

 

funny too...that you were able to watch suria news from malaysia?

were you not suppose to be in the same scooter festival in malacca as us?

we had to decline their invitation because of our more important 'duties' here.

 

and we also hope you have fun on your mini workshop.

we wouldn't want to intrude and distract you.

it is good that we will be riding on this sunday.
