I see one that is close to the same colour scheme as yours.... Always parked near the carpark behind Blk 74

Fancy a Scorpion exhaust?

 

Approved for use on 200cc Vespas (but must still approach LTA)

If yours is a 150, you'll need to get the documentation in order.

 

The Scorpion is the best exhaust legally available here period! In fact its better than most of the illegal ones too.

 

If you don't want something big and shiny, then opt for a Sito+ (must import) these look stock, so you shouldn't have any trouble with the mata.

good question about the cosa clutches... no idea. Know that cosa is better than stock... but that's about it... Could be a simple as cosa one having 23teeth and cosa 2 having 22 or something like that...

 

Total cost for the Scorpion around 750 including shipping and LTA charges... Not cheap... but you get what you pay for.... You need to get in touch with Vincent Ng from LTA...(he's in charge of vehicle mods) nice guy. You will face some issues with the fact that the test reports for the 150 Scoprion may not list your particular model (eg Sprint).... You'll need to argue that all 150 Vespa engines are essentially the same.

 

A cheaper option (and really quite a good one) is the Sito Plus... or SIP's touring exhaust (also looks stock).... SIP costs more, but will likely last longer as Sito+'s are made out of rather thin metal and will rust out over 2 years or so in Northern Climates... how well they stand up here is debatable :)

hi all. anyone interested in meeting up at ah joos tonight after work? want to go pick up my bike after work and was thinking of rounding up the leftover ajays who didn't make the thailand trip. so all you leftovers, if you have nothing to do after work today, you know where to head for!!

erm... the number of teeth affect acceleration and top speed.... I think 23teeth is just fine for the PX200... no need to mess with it...
