[Hi guys, I am a new Fazer owner. I just bought the bike from Looi's Motor at Kaki Bukit Place. The sales manager Mr Lee was very honest and friendly and calculated with me these following details that made me sign on the contract.

The price and breakdown of things are as follows:

Yamaha FZ1 Fazer 2008 (Lava Red) - S$19.2K OTR

Includes insurance for M/26yrs old, 5yrs riding exp, 20%NCB (My insurance is under AIG priced at S$1008/- 2nd party fire and theft)

1/2 yr Rd tax priced at S$160/- and IU Unit

COE bidded at S$1012/-

Admin, Registration, Number retention and Transfer Fees

I asked for frame sliders, bike cover and forgot to ask for the headlight protector which I will ask for when I collect my bike.

 

Took in my CB400 Hyper VTEC at 4K, less outstanding installment with De Xing at 1.5K, trade in value of 2.5K

 

19.2K OTR price less 2.5K deposit = 16.7K X 0.04% interest p.a for 5yrs, divide by 60 mths = S$334/- per month.

 

I wanted to put in another amount of 3K as cash deposit but I thought to myself what the heck, the 3K could be used for other means and furthermore I will be riding this bike for a very long time so I can afford the 5 year installment arrangement. Hope this info is useful to all those potential Fazer owners. Do be warned that initially I wanted to get the Graphite colour but when I viewed it, it was very dull. The engine casting colour for 2008 models are grey in colour and the inverted forks for the Lava Red colour scheme is painted black, not gold. But it remains gold on the Graphite an Ocean Depth colour scheme. For more details, check out the yamaha motor webbie.I can't wait to collect mine on 29th Jan 2008. Yipee!!!]

Liamsi engine casting color grey senang nak jaga dari hitam....thats why i bought mine silver coz engine casting grey...for 06 model only got silver..maroon and navy blue..navy blue ngan maroon engine silver..then bila 07 model keluar aku sakit hati pasal ada color hitam..hitam lawa pulak 2...ikhss...siot tul.
