Hello Racingter, please join us the next time when we have FZMC meetup or any event. It's been a long time since we meet the last time. Btw, Thank you for the tyre tips. I got it replaced at Unique motorsports. They are quite good and did a clean job.

 

if i have the time i will go...:cheeky:

Balancer only available early March, korang nak beli satu shot ke nak spilt? BTW, if ur balancers or grips are different from a stock FZ1 '06 please let me know. I used mine as a gauge. Kalo ko beli den tak muat, jgn mare haaaaa...

just to share info....... for motovation products u can get it straight from the agent.... check his no @ advertiser offer....... aku beli SGD 55.00 w/o installation around 1 yr ago..... installation done with one allen key, size lupa lah........KING kau just quote the balancer for what version of fazer.....

 

for bmw grips - ade kedai CHIAP LEE (jln besar punya, opposite regina near to 7 - 11) also selling it but they are selling the replica version, brand - KARIETE, price SGD 20.00.... Installation is simple..... need air gun to facilitate the installation....... kalau tak air sabun pun bleh tapi leceh kena tolak masuk..........

Definately, I changed to none other than Bridgestone batlax BT020, my all time favourite tyres for $350 since the rear is 190/50/17.

But if i were to change the rear to 180/55/17 then the price is $25 off.

 

They have quite number of tyres plus other maintenance packages. The mechanic, Ah Kee, did a wonderful job for the balancing i must say.

Hi Dabonz,

 

You were right, The Bridgestone Battlax Bt021 replaces the BT020. My bad. I'm sure i got the last batch of the successful tyres.

 

i got this info from the foreign HondaST forum.

Hi Jeff,

 

The BT020 "F" is still the recommended tire for the ST1300. It should

be getting hard to find a Generic BT020 as these are discontinued with

the introduction of the BT021. There will not be a ST1300 spec BT021

unless Honda make a revision to the bike and request new spec tires.

Thanks for the info, the balancers are direct form motovation, prices quoted for all Fazers. The price 1 yr ago is diff due to various reasons such as inlfation, GST hike, oil prices, currency exchange etc..

 

12mth prices are a bit irrelevant today. We must remember, the world turns at a much faster rate today then it ever did....

 

I am well aware of the oem BMW grips and the replica's. Chiap Lee has the $20 version, motorworld has the $10 version. The MO participants I asked want the OEM version.(for various reasons)

 

 

The Bridgestone Battlax Bt021 replaces the BT020.

OK, here's Plan A. We wanna try sumthin different. Instead of ridin up we wanna take a bus up. Yes, that's rite, bus. Ideally, the whole bus. So we're lookin for at least 20pax

Top speed at 160m/hr

Max power is 150bHp

 

Handilng - its a sports tourer.. 4get abt cornering like an R1. Comfortable cruising at 160km/hr, more if u can tahan the wind. Strong pick up(also depends on ur wrist)

 

Crappy seat, terrible stock windscreen, certain frames have been known to be weak.
