Not just that, its also due to the cold raine wheather in Moscow so any one could just go down with a cram...

Further more Moscow is one of the coldest country in the world...

No trainer nor doctor would say u would not get the crams...

Roman is not the only rich guy in the world.. there are tons more.. but do those rich men willing to spend money as how Roman was willing to? I won't say spend, invest is the right word. Well, if there is one that is willing to continue Roman's legacy for Chelsea, i would say good for Chelsea..

It's not just any rich man can take over a football club.. look at those American idiots that is currently holding on to my favourite club, Liverpool , they are rich, but have they contribute to the Liverpool cause? I don't think they have. In their mind is all about business. What Liverpool can give them back after their takeover. Mainly it's profits that's what they are going after.

Roman is special to Chelsea, that i have to agree.. but seriously, without Roman, Chelsea is just another top 10 team in EPL. Roman knows soccer. I think he also owns a club in Russia. And the best part is, he is willing to spend. I mean invest

in the end, it was just not to be for chelsea... Congrats Man Utd for their 3rd CL victory... u juz need 2 more victories to join CL elite who got to keep the real cup forever in their Trophy Cabinet, namely Real Madrid, AC Milan and LIVERPOOL... or do what only Bayern Munich has achieved, win 3 finals in a row, to keep the cup.

Cyah again next year....

Arsenal pasal new stadium nya hutang lom habis.. once dah habis, aku rasa mesti dorang spendnya.. tapi Arsene Wenger baik, pandai carik player budak2 baik nya.. save cost buying them, groom them up, den sell at a higher price.. but aku rasa Wenger is a very good manager.. with watever he had, he built quite a good team, cuma takde depth in reserves... kalau main player injured, tat's it for them pasal reserves not that good..

tapikan comparing Roman and Ferguson mcm tak kena gitu..

Roman is financial for Chelsea.. Ferguson is just another manager who works for Man Utd... if Ferguson goes, Man Utd just need to find another good manager to succeed him ( tapi dun know if the fella can be as successful as Ferguson or not )...

Tapi kalau Roman leaves Chelsea, it will leave Chelsea in financial turmoil.. look at all those players with big pay packets playing for Chelsea.. Can Chelsea afford them if Roman goes? Most likely, most big players will have to go, leaving Chelsea back to what they were before, with some debts in hand.

Difference with Man Utd and Chelsea is, Chelsea has Roman to make things happen whereas Man Utd has already made things happen without the exhorbitant amt of money. Plus also Man Utd is already well sorted out financially....

fuh.. kiter dah boley apply masuk Football Focus kat ESPN siol....

aku tak bole apply Football Focus.....kalau Nokia Football Crazy, bole la. dapat berkepit dgn Jamie Yeo

oh ya, aku bukan compare Roman & Fergie. memang dorang are 2 world apart. aku cuma refer to those team yang associated dgn dorang ~ Chelsea & Man Utd, esp bila dorang keluar dari team masing2.

Roman kalau keluar, they still have Grant (who have taken care of the current team quite well despite those Mourinho-loyals)

Fergie kalau keluar, ada chance Ronaldo & some younger players eg Nani, Anderson and few others will make a move. Reasons being they believe only Fergie can guide them to success.

betul cakap si Botz tu....kasi Arsenal settle hutang stadium tu dulu baru bole bobal pasal success. but there's a risk of losing good players as dorang pun nak menang trophies and medals. kalau tak, jadi mcm Henry nanti....sampai tua tak dapat rasa tu CL medal.

meantime, harap bersabar aje la, Doink.....tapi kau pun support Chelsea pe. maner jersey kau tu? tak pakai lagi ke?

Latest news from Chelsea FC...

Chelsea have started their search for a new manager after sacking Avram Grant on Saturday.

http://images.football365.com/08/05/Others/221218.jpg

Grant, who replaced Jose Mourinho last September, was expected to be removed from his post following Chelsea's failure to win a trophy for the first time in three seasons.

The 52-year-old Israeli found it hard to come to terms with being thrust into the spotlight and although he guided Chelsea into their first Champions League final, the penalty shoot-out defeat in Moscow last Wednesday paved the way for his departure.

After two days of meetings, Chelsea confirmed their decision in a statement.

It read: 'Chelsea can confirm that Avram Grant has had his contract as manager terminated today.

'This follows meetings over the last two days. Everybody at Chelsea FC would like to thank Avram for his contribution since taking over as manager last September.

'We will now be concentrating all our efforts on identifying a new manager for Chelsea and there will be no further comment until that appointment is made.' Grant joined the club last summer from Portsmouth to take up the post of director of football.'

Then manager Mourinho, whose relationship with the board was already fractious, was unhappy with the appointment.

Mourinho was later dismissed after their 1-1 draw with Rosenborg at Stamford Bridge in their opening Champions League game.

Grant, who had never managed a club in England, was asked to takeover and later given a four-year contract.

A close friend of the club's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich, Grant's brief reign was tainted by reports of anti-Semitic abuse but remarkably he equalled a nine-match winning run set by Mourinho's side two years earlier.

Grant brought in Henk ten Cate as his assistant as well as new fitness and goalkeeping staff.

But his appointment was never really accepted by the fans, who steadfastly refused to chant his name until the final game of the season, and his sour-faced demeanour did him few favours.

He was also criticised for being tactically inept but guided the club to the final of the Carling Cup in February only to lose 2-1 to Tottenham.

But remarkably, Chelsea pushed Manchester United to the wire in the race for the Premier League and earned a place in their first Champions League final against Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

But his entire spell in charge was littered with speculation that he was just a stop-gap appointment and that he would leave in the summer.

Chelsea consistently denied they had plans to change their manager but the deafening silence from the club's board after Wednesday's defeat by United, told its own story.

Both chief-executive Peter Kenyon and chairman Bruce Buck paved the way for change by insisting that Chelsea's performance this season was simply 'not good enough'.

Buck said: 'We have very high expectations at Chelsea and a couple of second place finishes is just not good enough for us - so although we never would have thought in September when Jose Mourinho left that we would be able to make it into a Champions League Final as we did - and that is fantastic - Chelsea are here to win trophies. So although it was an excellent season, we are still disappointed.'

A series of discussions finally resolved Grant's future and it is understood the Israeli said his farewells to the players on Friday - telling them it had been a 'privilege' to manage the team.

bak kata pepatah "great power comes with great responsibility".....yet again, when comes to football, it involves a good management and of course, a great teamwork from a bunch of 20-25 players

......and that cant be done with $$$ only. you need time as well. best of luck for the new manager :goodluck:

hopefully Chelsea don't fall into the hiring and sacking managers just like some footballl giants.. Insisting on instant success just because they think they can buy success by investing millions on players..

It takes alot to make a successful club.. On paper, Chelsea looks like a very good contender to win all major trophies. But can the players work together? Can the new manager motivate the players? Can the manager make correct decisions? Many more factors is involved.

Anyway, it is expected Grant to go... Even if he won the CL or the BPL, i think he will still go.. the director's board simply don't like him. Let's just see who will be the Chelsea manager...i won't be surprised if its the sacked Barcelona coach, Frank Rijkaard
