160km/h constant with pillion also can sampai.. normally our Gen1 petrol reserve light will come on at the Ayer Keroh ( Melaka ) exit.. From there only about 5kms to Jejatas. Bila kau pump petrol at Ayer Keroh Jejatas, normally it's about 15l to 16.5l, meaning baru ajer masuk reserve.. aku rasa Gen1 bley sampai Seremban on 1 petrol tank tapi aku tak brani nak try..hehehe

untuk gen 1 memang leh sampai ayer keroh, pasal tank besar. dat time aku gi kene stop pagoh pasal ada sportsbike ikot gi genting, tau tau je la sportsbike kan tank kecik, buat fish tank simpan fighting fish agaknye. jadi terpaksa la benti pat pagoh.

Elo bro, before u waste a big sum of money on a brand bew aftermarket seat.

Ko dah setting ur proper riding position and suspensions of ur ride?

Cos its free to adjust and mite juz change the whole feeling of riding the bike.

Maybe ko tak perlu tukar seat pun.

 

Tapi kalau ko asking bout changing the material (cushion) of the seat, then ko nak kena tanye some of the other experts in here.

gen2 pon sampai jugak... the only difference is Gen1 baru masuk reserve, but Gen2 dah lama reserve depending on riding style lah...

kalau nak tukar terus.. probably u can get Sargent seats or Corbin seat..

 

google them for more info.. it'll cost u about about $500 onwards to bring them in..

another alternative is to do a gel insert on your seat. Go to Eugene Saddlery i think it's at the end of Syed Alwi Road along Jalan Besar.. quite near Regina.

 

What they will do is to open your seat covers, insert a gel piece then fix back ur original covers. I heard it will cost u around $100+. Someone here ever went there for a quotation.

the ivan's jet kit...make sure u purchase the one for slip-ons not full system.. and also need to change air filter..

 

AIS aku dah remove tapi the old skool way... mechanik aku potong and welded it close.. kalau pakai Ivan's AIS kit, it will be better and nampak bersih.

Great choice geng, it save weight, give u xtra pick-up, but down-side without baffle u mite loose up to 40km per full tank of petrol.

 

aku pulak tak lose mileage bila aku tukar tu akra..

 

 

 

2 years back bila aku baru pasang akra aku, without the baffle,

 

normal street riding, reserve light aku will start to on ard the 180miles (290kms)

 

touring speed at 140km/h to 160km/h, 120miles (193kms)

 

it's about the same as my stock exhaust..

 

 

tapi kawan aku same bike, same exhaust, differs a bit by 5miles.

 

 

skarang normal street mileage aku not so sure pasal minyak aku tak pernah sampai reserve dah go pumpet... but from the last 2 touring trips, the mileage still maintains.

 

 

den again ni semua depends on riding style also lah..

Tapi aku taknak dispenser GS1200... aku prefer R1200GSADV.. lagi cantik dan berguna kalau letak kat dalam bilik mandi.
