Had tis problem as well, after listening to vidak and mepkoh advice nv encounter difficulties dropping to 1st gear from netural.

1) tried Half-3/4 clutch instead full clutch when dropping the gear.

2) try to adjust the free play "screw" of clutch if u know how its done.

my problem sloved within the solutions mention above..

if your problem persists hav to ask Pk seniors or Doc for further management le =)

Cheers Dave

yeah try to adjust the free play on you clutch...check for kinks in the cable as well..

sometimes old cable gets stretched with the years of service..need to check and adjusted regularly...

i had this problem with my previous ta150....finally replaced the cable and thta does the trick..

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

hi hi... welcome sbf... and more importantly... welcome to the Phantom Knights Forums... :cheer:

A majority of us would do our servicing at planet, which is at ubi... you can replace your tyres there for about $160...

and for a start... you can read the guide for new riders...

feel free to post questions in the relevant threads... use the search function if you have no idea which thread would be appropriate...

ride safe and enjoy your stay here...

Does anyone knows where to get the specific wrench/spanner for the

side screws for phantom seat.my current adjustable spanner can only the rear screw only..

the center of side screws the seems different from the rear screw in design..

Thank in advance =)

should be 12mm bolt... it would be difficult for the spanner to reach it... the spark plug removing tool should be able to remove those two bolts...

Go Mustafa buy cheap.

Size 12"

Make sure get the head can swivel one, can bend the head left and right, to get the angle to fit under the seat, do not buy the open "C" shape one. That one it's very hard to go under the seat to open.

Hardware shop also have, but not as cheap.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

i would suggest going to planet motors located at ubi... sometimes i do try out other motor shops due to a lower price but in e end, i regret, cause sometimes got problem n they r not helpful... anything u nd, just go to planet n look for e boss... very very nice chap... just tell him honestly that u new rider, wanna change tyres, headlight n also ask him to help u test ride n check if there's any problem... he will do it for u... he say change what just change, if no money, just ask him which one can change later, cause no enuf money, he will let u know honestly... :)

paint wise, i just did mine at yeow motors located at amk... i chose this guy due to gd reviews, and mostly i chose him cause dun need to leave bike there! u want whatever design or colour, just tell him... he'll tell u price n collect full payment from u... he'll use his own tank and/or fenders to paint, then when its done, u come back, he'll fix painted ones on ur bike n ur parts, he'll keep for next customer... so dun have to leave ur bike there! :)

i painted my tank alone glossy black, $100 with installation... gonna collect tmr... :)
