Mine is the custom version. Registered in 2004. Haha, really felt like a dumbass, cannot locate the lock, maybe would ask mechanic to show me when asking him to change my EO.

I just called a bike shop in the east and he tell me that phantom needs at least 2 litres of EO. Is it true? Manuel say only 1 litre.

all phantoms from TA150 to TA200 fire edition has steering lock. it is located on the right side of the fork area, nearest to the chassis that is connected to the fork by a steering shaft supported by a steering cone.

all phantoms only require i bottle of EO (1 litre). definitely that shop trying to bluff you and earn more $$$ from you...

Hi all!

I need to get my rear tyre changed...

Intend to go to HKL at Bukit Merah, but they seemed to be closed still since no one answers the phone.

Any idea if any of the other workshops in that area (there seem to be a few of them) at Blk 1007/1008 is relatively trustworthy? Hope not to be chopped too badly & get decent service in replacing the tyre.

Quite urgent...so any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

servicing the phantom simply means maintaining your bike... its up to you what you want to do... the most common things to do would be to change engine oil, air filter (new one for TA200), spark plug (although it can last literally forever or 25000km), chain and sprockets, clutch plates, fork seals, et cetera...

you should refer to the typical prices thread... it would take maybe an hour or two... mostly because of the waiting time...

if you are not sure of what is needed, you can ask ah chong to ride your bike and he will recommend the things that you would need

thanks bro. went down to planet today. not too many ppl, so settled everything quite fast. didnt do a full service though. just did what's necessary for inspection. maybe one day will go down for a full servicing. when the $$ comes in.

Got bike must ride!

if there are lights the battery should be ok... and that means bigger trouble... yes try to push start the bike first, if the bike starts, then somewhere in the electric start system is out of order... might be the starter button, start motor, et cetera...

hopefully your bike get well soon...
