recently my bike oso gt tis tick tick tick sound..in the end i found out is my set of keys knocking on the metal.haha

 

I seperate my box keys from my bike key so not this problem for me lol

ah finally found out my problem... my front license plate's vibration was causing the tock tock sound , 1 of the screw plate holding it had broken off..now only 1 side hanging on , but the plate is still level

km, dont take scrambler bar.. rlly.

its quite nice to go on straights but whn it comes t cornering & squeezing, s4 bar is definitely better..

 

nonetheless, my upside down scrambler bar caught many eyes.

want smthg eye catching, get a 20inches ape. xD

its like, i ride as usual..

until one fine day i came home, received a letter from LTA.

asked to go for inspection..

went t ispection centre, thy inspec th exterior of th bike only.

(mudguard, handlebar, tank, seat.)

thn, thy start failing this & that..

 

was made to restore th bike t stock befor going for a sure-pass inspection..

Hmm, today went to ride, but forgot to turn back fuel switch back to on lol.

end up stuck at a filter lane and panicked for a while. cos couldnt start engine.

 

but I remembered once I on the fuel tank already, was riding normally, and at a junction when wanna move off, the moment I trottle, the engine will stall.

 

I can still start the engine, but the moment I trottle (turn the grip) the bike will stall. Without even making a vroom sound.

 

Anyone got any idea what this might mean? Is there something wrong or spoilt in my bike? T_T

you turned your throttle on too fast.

th mixture isnt right, causing your engine to 'chock' , 'cough' , 'die'..

turn your throttle on slower..

same goes t closing, dont close too fast whn at a constant speed.. engine might just stall..

or mayb increase ur idling abit and try? once i tune too low den died often wen trying to move off otr after a stop, quickly tune it up n manage to move again

The stalling under throttle movement shouldn't be happening.

 

It happened once on a very hot day to me and some gentle riding brought the fuel pressure back up.

 

As for rapid throttle movement opening her up without warning gives a throaty roar and a nice intake whine, closing it shut in a moment gives a WRC style backfire. It's all in the settings.

any idea what kind of spark plug does phantom200 use and where is it located. if spark plug fail, is it still able to do a push start?

Dun think u r able to do a jump/push start if the PLUG fail but its always gd to to try that cause u will never know izit the PLug prob

Hi bros, on may 11 i got into an accident, my wave up lorry, bike shop says repair no use. He asks whether i wanted a phamtom 150cc.

I went down and check, FR plate, renewed coe, new iu unit, engine he says he pao one month for me. errr... just trade my wave(fz) and pay 1k. u guys think is good? or if acceptable, do i need to check for other things?

take photograph and seek 2nd shop opinion juz to get the curiosity sorted out whether that bike shop got hantam u anot.

 

for phantom's perfomance and ratings and handlings, theres the genesal side have a few reviews on phantoms.

I have a spare spark plug if you want it lol. I save my old parts, clean them up and build a little inventory of emergency supplies.

 

Or I could probably push start it till it ticks.

 

Does push start work? Starter not moving? Starter coil problem. Don't DIY starter repair though, because there are a lot of tiny little parts that pop out of it!

ur wave got installment?

FR plate renew COE so is 2019? that time the price of COE is about 800? so COE value still got about 700 ba, so u are paying 300 for the bike..

 

so the problem worth or not is see ur wave, u still owe them $$ anot lor

my bike dying soon also ma.. need to take note of the COE.. next year jan is my time =X

but now COE 1.2k so exp T_T

anyway i plan to sell it around oct or nov, den will depend can find buyer anot

and if have will discuss with thr buyer how he wan to settle for the COE, if wan i can give in abit, renew liao den sell him/her
