SP woes

Hi all,

 

am a SP rider for 2 years already being a old bike it has given me countless problems but thank god was able to solve myself.

 

Today starting bike as usual then suddenly the kick start lever went bonkers. It feels as if the lever is not connected and it swing around like don't know what. After a few tries, I managed to get it started.. To my horror, the lever won't come up to it's original position!!

 

Really need help from you guys.. Any suggestions as to what the **** happened!?

lever is jammed probably? used lubricant like wd40 to clear the rust?

I would be happy if it's that simple haha.. But it's like from the engine inside man… like after start liao, the lever should spring back up but it stays there as if the spring inside spoil... Then I push it back up it drops down again.. Help.. Any good and cheap bike shops to recommend?
