bros i was thinking of tzrs, but i heard from ppl is that though they are cheap but we have to spend lots of servicing all these. wonder if its true and whether advisable for me to get a tzr or tzrr?

Well... pple will say a lot of bad things about TZR just bcos of the fact that TZR is a very old bike. True, TZR is very old, but old doesnt mean that you will spend a mountain to service it.

If u're just talking about servicing the bike, the cost is relatively reasonable. But if u say that servicing includes changing spare parts here n there, then it will be expensive for ANY bike, not only TZR...

Petrol wise, it really depends on how much do u use the bike. As for me, my full tank can last me up to 220km b4 it hits reserve. Normal servicings like engine oil, coolant, spark plug, wash n tune carb, decarbonise piston are pretty normal. And u dun have to service all these like once a week, or even once a month...

Just rest assure bro... we are all TZR or TZRR riders here... they're very dependable bike :cheer:

And if u happen to have problems with TZR if u're getting one, our legend Jsn is here to clear the problems n doubts... :cheeky:

hai i sold my bike to the new owner

the new owner complaint so much abt the bike

say need to change overhaul and change the coil

wah lau overhaul is at own expense and the coil is wear and tear...suay sia

overhaul i dun think there's a need lor

maybe normal full servicing include change of piston and ring only mah

somemore i just overhaul my bike not long he wan to overhaul again

the toopit bikeshop chop him he come and scold me say he wan to scrap the bike early on then i call my bikeshop they only charge me 1/3 of the price the bikeshop give him!...worst sia

less den $100 kpkb me liao...even full servicing only $80-$120 + piston and ring abt $50 only how much~

hai~ now the new owner going taiwan training...poor and suay

for me i only overhaul once in sg and change fairring + some minor stuff...all together also quite cheap and gd also powerful bike after modify clearmeter leh mai siao siao lol
