From my point of view

YBR125

Pros

+ Cheap

+ Easy to maintain

+ Parts are very easy to get

+ Cheap to insure

+ Fuel efficient (41km/l)

+ Realiable

Cons

- Heavy bike

- Very slow

- Underpowered

- Easily dirty (Under the engine, main/sidestand covered in soot and oil fling)

- Easily hot

- Chinese parts are inferior but cheaper to replace anyway

- Ugly alien baby head

- Must rather often adjust the idling screw accordingly

6 Pros and 8 cons but i still love my bike because although there are less points, they are heavier than all the pros put together. :D

get YBR, pulsar problematic. i sold it for japanese bike. the technology cant compare to japan counterpart but the outlook is nice. utimately is to advice u to get japanese bike, bcos any tom, **** or harry workshop can do the bike. pulsar u have to go back to their agent to get the parts. last time i always saw pulsar bike go back agent to fix this n that.

Japanese bike is the best in our little country!

well i used to ride a pulsar.. generally, a very reliable bike. I rode for 2 years. never break down before. Very fuel efficient. Electric and kick start. good pick up but low high end speed la..top speed onli ard 120km/h.

Main concern is if things spoil must go back agent la..spare abit more exp la. For pulsar, i used to met with a problem which puzzled me. If you park under hot sunlight for a few hours, when u start the bike, let it idle a while first (at least 5 mins), dun try to move off first, if you do so, the bike will die off and will be very difficult start again. i dun noe why la. But imo...pulsar definately much better looking then the YBR. YBR...really looks...erm...ugly.. no offence wor bro crazydj :)

I follow my wallet. You think we want to get a YBR? Ugly and slow. But faithful, yes.

Hmm.... I am a Ex-Pulsar rider... Seriously if U want to save money.... Just go for YBR125... The maintainance of YBR125 is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more cheaper than a Pulsar... For the petrol wise... if YBR125 really achieves a petrol consumption of 41km/l... Then I would see no much diff between a Pulsar n a YBR125 in terms of fc... A Pulsar can only achieve good FC when.. 1.) bike is new 2.) U just changed UR "diaphragm" *might spell wrongly.. anyway is a rubber thingy at ur carbreutta...

The diaphragm anyway is sold for $20 per piece and have a general life span of abt 1 week b4 it is spoil again... EVerytime u go back to repair they sure tell u spoil..

Other bike I dunno... But between YBR125 n Pulsar... My honest opinion is to get a YBR125....
