hi there,

wanna ask about cdc cls 2 prac. i noe that for cls 2 there is one prac where u have to learn to push bike. for cdc do they use dumpy bike or use the actual in use bike to practise? is that part easy? cos during my cls 2a, pushing s4 alrdy feel damn heavy alrdy.

btw, i took all my license in ssdc and now that ssdc is moving so decided to take at cdc

class 2B : 27 November 2007

Dummy bike, and you don't have to lift and push for every single lesson. Just the orientation in Lesson 1 and the evaluation in Lesson 3.

It's also ridiculously light to push as well. Fazer 6 and XJR 400 weight difference is slight, you won't feel it. If you can't handle an FZ6, how are you gonna handle a Hayabusa/Blackbird/African Twin etc?

I used to be a car person. Then one day, I woke up and became a biker.

Ex rides:

Nissan Sunny 1.6

Nissan Cefiro 2.0

Honda CBR 150 R

Honda CBR 400 RR Fireblade

Current rides:

Yamaha 2008 YZF-R1

KIA Cerato Forte 1.6 Well OK sometimes a car comes in handy.

well, cant really compare it this way right? cos when u own a haya or a AT in future, u would be waddle on the bike rather than pushing it.

SSDC is only moving in March next year; that's plenty of time to complete your class 2 lessons I reckon.

well as my sig stated, i just got my cls 2a this april so 1 yr later, i would have missed ssdc before it moves.

Heh heh, trust me, there will be times when you simply have to get off the bike and push. Try sitting on a haya and 'waddle' up a slope and u can't start the motor cos u ran out of fuel. :goodluck:

:offtopic: Ha! Yeah...Been driving for donkey years before I made up my mind to fulfil a childhood dream to ride a motorbike. Never regretted the switch. :thumb: Currently taking my Cl 2 lessons at CDC (good now I've made it more on-topic) so I can fulfil another dream of riding my fave bike.

It was this one:steve-mcqueen-metisse-desert-racer-replica-1.jpg

Steve McQueen's classic.

Then much more recently, the bikes featured in MI2 and Matrix Reloaded kinda took my fancy. So, any of them will do now.

Of course, the financial benefits of owning a bike far outweighs that of a car. Also, switching to a bike allowed me to discover a greater sense of freedom, adventure and oneness with nature.:thumb:

I just enrolled for class 2 at cdc & saw that I had to book 2 wks in advance for a free slot.

Is this because class 2 had gotten difficult at cdc?

From my memory, there weren't sunday lessons before.. is this new?

about 5 'FBE' fazers.

the old 'FZ' fazers are still around, but not in use.

and the new fazers are so nice to ride.. blowing the throttle is so awesome..

just don't blow until the temp shoot up so high till you cannot start the bike again when you stall..

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

where got 5 or 3 or 10 also no difference..

cause their system are set in a way that you will only have a maximum of 5-6 class 2 bikes in the circuit at any 1 time.. and dun forget, there are 3 pracs, not including those coming for circuit revisions..

instructors oso like to ride new bikes you know..

in short, pass your prac at 1 go to save the hassle of going back so often.. and of course saving $$$!
