hello im new here. Im addy. anyway i would like to ask. how do i make my handlebars like some of ur gilera? its like kinda cool la.. leh ajak skit tk? brp agak2 tu? hee

 

Yo addy!!If ur talking about those naked handlebar..There are 2 ways to get those naked bars on ur gilley..

 

Stripping The Italian Girl

Pros: Better handling,cornering and for sure speed improve abit.

Cons: Not as stable at high speeds.For me,its fine as i don't need to travel at above 100km/h.

 

1st method:Leceh,Manual but cheaper

 

1. Bicycle riser bar.

Clamp dimension:31.8.

Price: Depend on what brand u prefer.

 

2. Bicycle stem.

Dimension:1 1/8.

Price: Depend on what brand u prefer

 

3. Speedometer.

Cheap bicycle speedometer like CATEYE will do.If u got extra cash,invest on the imported speedos like koso.

Price: Cateye speedo:$40,Koso speedo:$***

 

4. Switch set for light,horn,signal

From many bike models to choose from like phantom, ktm, rxz etc..

Price: $18 at Ah boy,Original Set $80+

 

After you get all the stuffs,head down to any gilera workshops like Mach Speed,Sunrise,Taihin etc. to get it fix on.

Price:$150

 

2nd method:Easy,Auto but ex

 

Alternatively,if ur lazy to find those stuffs,u can jus head down to Mach Speed Motor.They will get everything dat u need plus fix it on ur gilley for the price of $400+.

sorry dude but which model u riding? u seem like someone who knows alot about scooter tuning i presume? been riding long?

I'm sorry....I dont recall saying I know a lot about scooter tuning. But i'm into tuning. Someone riding a particular bike for ages does not necessarily mean he knows a lot about it. But if it matters to you, mine is an '04....been riding for 9 years. Not on my '04 though. But mostly DIY my previous rides. Like I said, I'm into tuning. Apologize again coz somehow I feel that my presence is not appreciated.

hey man any1 can advise me on the wheel size setting for gilera 07 on the speedo meter? i could not get the correct traveling speed show on my meter as i do not know the size of the wheel size chart for gilera...

got the impression u feel dat way....no harm done. scooterforum has an english section with some project on a vxr200. its some piece if u want to learn to tune ur bikes....my knowledge are based on my theory. and i'm workin on a project i'm sure no one has done yet....but good things come at a price.

 

and with higher performance parts....wear n tear is gonna increase juz as much. like someone said, 'a candle that burns brighter, burns out faster'
