Yes. Need the diagnostic machine for certain checks.

Hmmm, like that bo pian liao. However, should you get the PI Beemer at $36K OTR and then pay $5K upfront for servicing at PML, still save $2K leh since PML's bike is $43K machine price...

PML bike $43K will set u back at $46-$47K OTR. I know of their registration package. But Loois' $36K is OTR.

Since u've been looking at S1K since b4 its launch, dont u want to get the PI one since its only slightly more expensive than the Jap bikes that you are aiming?

I don't like the feeling of parting with $5K should I need to service my bike and PML is the only place I can send it too. Rather get a Jap bike where the place of choice to service it is not limited to one place...:)

Vipergod2000,I think the 848 is slightly more powerful than the inline 600s/675 triples hence why they cant compete in the World Supersport championship. The regulation state that for twin cylinder limit is up to 750cc and 675cc for triple correct me if i'm wrong.

Agreed. If not the 36k otr seems yummy to me =X

what options comes with the 36k otr price tag?

if u ask around enough, there are workshops with the diagon kit for the S1K, not just PML.

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

I strongly believe in getting the right people to do the right job.

In this case, not only did PML failed to get someone familiar with motorcycles to represent them, they also failed to train him in handling customers.

The best guys who sold BMW bikes were way back in 2003, when they were still at Kampong Arang. That was the time I bought my GS, and it was a good buying experience. Recently I went to the bukit timah showroom and there wasnt anyone there to talk to at all.... I suppose bikes are not important to PML...

I can fully understand your expectations when u are prepared to spend that kind of money on a bike, I would do the same.

I saw one at basement carpark beside Al-Falah mosque last Monday. Solid black. FY plate. From pictures, the bike looks abit weird, kinda hard to get use to the looks. But when I saw the actual thing, WOW. Looks DAMN nice. Maybe because it really stands out from the crowd (of bikes) with her assymetrical headlights. Wonder who is the owner...
