Hi,

I am a female rider who has been riding for 4 years. My 6 years old bike is giving me a lot of problems and i am considering changing it. my questions are:

1. Is there any crucial reason why you should get a first hand bike and pay a lot more for a first hand bike? Or a 2nd hand not older than 2 year old bike is ok?

2. I am currently riding a Yamaha spark 110cc. I am looking to get a similar bike since it has served me well so far. Any comments regarding the Spark 135, X-1R and Nouvo? All 3 models do they have the kick start?

mmm you may be female, but pls use the search function. there are threads dedicated to spark, x-1r and nouvo. browse thru them and make your comparisons.

You pay a lot more to ensure that the bike is 100% problem free. 2nd hand bikes are at best 50% problem free.

You have to question why the seller wants to sell a 2 years old (relatively new) bike. More likely than not there is an underlying problem with the bike the seller do not want to fix.

First hand bikes do not have this problem. You will know exactly what goes into your bike, right down to how you want to run it in.

if you don't have the intention to change, first hand would be good...

X-1R comes in kick start with optional electric start, all X-1R model clutch operated.

Spark has both clutch and clutchless option, rest the same... they are like "bro bro" all same type of engine. Spark 135 gear pattern is N-1-2-3-4, X-1R is 1-N-2-3-4.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

Buy a used WAVE S. Honda engine not as powerful as Yamahas but it will last forever.

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.
