Bro. Don't do it. Don't go 2-stroke sports bikes. You're so young.

No la bro. Just joking. Its just that 18 year old sports bike insurance already a killer. 2 stroke some more. I presume you're still schooling. Now money hard to find. But if you have the means and you are really keen on getting a 2 stroke sports bike, go ahead. But please, don't speed. You only have 1 life.

all depends on your wallet actually..

You want speed = more money

you want more money = get 4stroke bike and small CC

If you get KR get ready to be hit with 1k over of insurance for first few years.

but depends on you.. KR sure is packed with speed and adrenaline! :)

i only know that my original ya125z bike can reach speed at 160km/h. i come from vietnam, and in my country, it's so hard to take care this bike ( in term of rare accessories...). But i still love this bike so much. :)

May I answer that for you bro? :cheeky:

I once was in such a "dilemma" as well..However I chose the one with the bigger tank..Coz frequent trips to the petrol station is not really convenient for me..

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

yup expensive... n since ur goin for 2 storke i presume u want to feel more speed/power??..

den juz go for kr, expensive but definitely worth it. lots can be mod fer outlook n fer the inside juz maintain it stock with slight mod n im sure u can reach 210km/h or more :cheeky:

150cc on a 2stroke engine got alot of potential.. u do up ur bike properly n its power can be on par with stock 400cc.

..RIDE TILL U OR UR RIDE DIE!..

hello Tequila

kawasaki is the deal bro if u need for speed... i nvr regret buying kr150 hehehe...i bet all those kr owner would agree.

i want to ask you can???

what your budget for a bike?

how much u willing to spent every month on ur bike?

is fuel consumption 1 of the issue?

why i ask u this question because i want u to reflect and think carefully.

1st kr insurance is a killer. my first kr insurance was $900. when the my insurance going to expired i called insurance company what the price to renew it. that insurance lady quote me $900-$1100.i thought it would be lesser. but i was wrong. i was surprised since i have not claim anythink. the lady said the premium or something just went up... so i post up my kr for sales and now sold to nice dude. really miss my first baby... 1 and only green eyes monster.

i spent alot of my money on my bike. part are not cheap. btw i do up my bike ONLY in SINGAPORE. i think the only ft plate which is super stock... cause i change it that way to prevent any unwanted problems.

the fuel consumption for my kr was 30~32km/Litre.

as the malay proverb goes.. "nvm if u're not rich.. as long got style.." but in da end.. u're da one suffering... try not to be like this way... many of my friends are suffering paying installment every month and some can't afford to pay it therefore the bike is being towed back to the shop. they have to pay a penalty for paying it late and still need to pay those installment.

buy a bike which u can afford don't buy a bike u cant afford. slowly don't rush when buying a bike. think far ahead whether u can afford in mere future. try to pay full cash for 2b bikes just a piece of advise. im not scaring you. but i want you to have a rough idea.

just my 0.23 cent

regards,

rwan

ride safely, always :)

hmm hearing from what u say, on top of what my friends said, they advise me to get a 4-stroke bike instead.

for 4 strokes, i intend on getting either spark or x1-R. the fuel consumption definitely i'll be able to maintain. the thing is, the payment for the bike & insurance. =(

IMO, Kawasaki Kr. Have been riding that last year. Not bad, light weight. Ez to handle. Fairing bike seems nicer to me IMO. Tried a 125z, quite nice also, but till prefered KR/SP. Main thing is up to your likings and budgets. =)

Bro. Don't do it. Don't go 2-stroke sports bikes. You're so young.

young young just pass 2B ride SP/KR/TZM , aft that boring already change to a 4-stroke relac.

why bro? :(

Ultimately its still your decisions. Try ur fren's bikes. Have a feel. But be careful! :thumb:

Remember , a 150cc will always be a 150cc. a 400cc will also be a 400cc. Mod so heavily can go fast. agree. But u are not treasuring your life = stupid.
