Do you carry fake branded goods?

I don't carry fake branded goods but I carry genuine unbranded stuff.

 

 

I am fine with carrying a bought from pasar malam wallet. Dunno what brand also as long the compartments within are the type that I like for keeping the credit cards and other necessary stuff.

 

Brand name don't have never mind.. what is important to me is the wallet is always fat with cash.. that's all. There's nothing worse than a cashless, skinny branded wallet.

 

I am not impressed by names but rather I look for functionality and purpose.

 

Supposing you know 2 beautiful women who are madly in love with you. The rich one who can buy you anything you want is Lim Ah Huay... and the poor one is Melissa-Anne Lim... and you marry the poor one because her name sounds better??

 

yeah. i myself also carry unbranded, or unheard of brand stuff. i was always the praticality person. so didnt matter to me whether it was prada or lv, as long as it does its purpose, i am satisfied.

 

but no matter what, CASH IS KING.

Nope , I rather carry normal bags , wallets , etc ... than to carry a fake and embarrass myself . If you can't afford it , just get something of a reasonable price and not a fake .

A friend of mine went the other way. She got fed up carrying her original branded bags around cos the people she's around with are carrying fake branded bags that are very similar to the ones she has. Hard to differentiate between the original and the fake. Since the authenticity of her branded bags are questioned, she kept those at home and replace those with normal bags instead...

for me, i do not believe in imitations. if i want an expensive product, i would save for it and get it. otherwise, i will get a cheaper one...but not an imitation. since getting the imitation would not satisfy my reason for wanting the product in the first place. hahaha!

I feel getting branded goods for the sake of the name is a big waste of time. Thus, getting FAKE goods are a bigger waste of time. I only look at cost and functionality. It's also the same with the "early adopters" mindset. Just look at how many screwed iphone users when 3G and 3GS later came out. Mindless consumerism.

I know of someone who has a genuine LV wallet (cost around $1200) but nv uses it.

 

On the other hand, that someone uses a replica LV wallet (probably $50?) and seems to be enjoying it.

 

thing is all of us know that she has a genuine LV wallet, so she feels proud. but things change if she only has her replica LV.

 

fake branded stuff *lol* why try so hard when you cannot afford? so i rather not do it. use no brand with as good functionality is being more practical.

 

have LV wallet but dun use it? then buy for what? leather when kept for too long will spoil/grow moldy esp in our humid climate.

 

and for those that starve just to own branded stuff -reminds me of ppl who pay thru their nose just to own a car. aiyo why make life so miserable?

i rather carry brandless bag, there is nothing shameful to be carrying a brand less bag than to be caught carrying a fake.

I don't mind buying and using fake stuff. Long time ago, I bought this Armani jeans in Bandung cos I like the design and cutting. Wore it for a good three years until my waist got too big for it. For a fake, the quality was decent and quite long lasting.

 

My mrs wanted to get one too but she kind of got turned off when the brand of jeans cutting she wanted was unavailable and the salesgirl told her that they can cut and paste the brand patch to the jeans that she liked...

I have fake & branded stuff. Depend on where & what occassion i go. If is just an causual outing/shopping, I will take replica stuff. Of cos genuine branded meant for some appropriate function.

i went zhu hai last year and end up empty handed!! Was kinda shock to hear got AAA, 3A, 4A and dunno how many A stuff!!!!!! and everybody selling it!!!!!!!

And the lady boss told me their clienteles mainly sporeans..
