The vfr fork can put on pgm4?

And u muz say this vfr fork is using 296 brake disc!!! Is a gd upgrade for handling and braking for an nsr250.

idk ehhhh, upgrade to RVF/VFR Fork got pros and cons leh, i think much heavier than stock pgm3 fork, enter corner slower,

But of cos in the other hand RVF/VFR Fork more stable in terms of corner stability..

i think Still depends on the rider see which he prefers thou,

i prefer flexibility over stability, ya luh bt as i say see the rider prefer what is most important :)

1st if ur bike too slow then u will feel that the rvf or vfr fork will make ur bike slow.

My bike b4 change to rvf fork 1,2 and 3 gear keep wheeli sprocket size using 15,39....

Cannot make it even enter corner sometime feel my front is floating. It's depend on ur setting of ur bike and modiftion.

Ya rvf fork is heavy then stock. But why all the other country include japan mod their fork too rvf even cbr600 fork? Cos ours bike is too fast need to mod to better handling and better brake to stop and corner on time. Everything's we did serve a reason. We don't waste 1.4k just for Waaa rvf fork sia... Which ppl dont even take a gd look on ur fork.

Ppl rather spent 1.3k on tyga fairing cos the 1st look of ur bike is waaaa!!! Not the fork... I change my fork is to upgrade my handing and braking.

Ever the brake disc is big I still upgrade to brembo rc19 brake pump, hel line and brembo brake caliper.

Is what u wanna on ur bike.

Pro stand alot compare with con

Con onli u have to learn to corner again!!!! And need some money to mod the triple clamp to fit on ours nsr250.

Rvf fork, triple clamp, handle bar, wheel shaft plus mod the clamp and install change berring is abt 1.6.

Without brembo caliper

Vfr fork have to ask keraking.

Ppl may think pgm is old, problem bike, no more aftermarket parts and even original parts are hard to find. Found the parts oso expensive. Original need to wait for fcuking long...

If u love ur bike

u can always rebuilt lik what others did

U can order put deposit 1st and stand by ur parts

Race parts onli some is ex

Lik me engine blow 2yrs back 2weeks b4 Chinese new yr!

My mech onli use 3days to overhaul my bike. Change brand new crank all the oil seal plus casket. Piston, piston ring, c pin, piston rod, piston berring, all the casket and cylinder b.

Haha only use 3days... Seldom ppl pgm engine blow only use 3 days... They use month to repair ur bike. But heng is FJT got the new crank thats y I no need to wait.

If u standby all the parts u no need to wait at all.... I got a cylinder b and piston rebuilt on hand now. Even cdi also on my room. U can ask Deniel how many spare parts I sold to him when he met an accident. Which he no need to wait for the stock to be arrive

For me with the original non adjustable forks the front feels too light.

By too light i don't mean quick steering and agile, it just means gives no feedback like its floating and not gripping.

After change vfr forks it gives confidence n stability without sacrificing agility.

And i never miss the stock forks.

My experience on the smaller 150, after changing to (i think heavier) mito inverted forks, it gives stability n precision yet turns into corners faster than stock.

Anyways for pgm if u want inverted forks but lighter than standard i think the honda rs250 item is the answer. Don't ask me about the price though.. haha

Fork oil make it heavier so no need to convert fork... so far have not tried rvf fork on track but still i prefer the stock..

Except rear shock lah...that really need to change aftermarket rear shock..

current bikes: NSR 250 PGM4, HRC CBR 1k & SYM GTS200

Cars :KIA CERATO H/B(05-09)

Bikes:Ypvs 125(90-92),NSR PGM 2(92-93),MBX 125(93-94)

Pgm need alot of money to mod... Cos there got alot of race parts not lik nsr150...

Nsr250 is worth more then nsr150. Don't put nsr150 compare to an nsr250!!!

There is alot of parts for nsr250 lik

Hrc jet kit

Hrc reeds

Hrc stuffer

Hrc spacer

Hrc cylinder head convertion

Hrc head convertion hose

Hrc pipe

Hrc cdi

Ohlins shock

Honda rs250 fork

Alot alot not lik nsr150sp

No hrc parts

Even an nsr150 hrc bike

Things they change onli remove all the light and paintwork nothing is done.

Nsr150sp when u change a tyga pipe image bhp is more then a nsr150 hrc... Haha don't Beleive me? Go do some sreach and u will know.

Even nsr150 no have hrc cdi. How to remove? It's easy

Matt fm tyga say

We fitted an Ignitech unit to our NSR150R (Which is using all NSR150SP

engine components). And it works very well. The NSR150SP needs different

connections to plug n play onto the wire harness, but I do have these

connectors, so I could make up a CDI unit that plugs in directly.

We have the Ignitech units in stock, and I will fit the connectors as

necessary to make this work. The program installed will be OK for the

standard bike with a race exhaust fitted. Further modifications such as

cylinder tuning or carb upgrades may requires additional modifications to

the ignition timing and/or RC valve timing.

Price for the plug n play CDI is US$250

Regards,

Matt Patterson.

wheres the like button? :D

yea i'm a fan of the stock forks too. played with oil/spring instead of changing to rvf forks.

weigh ard 65 and the stock shock was still ok for me but yea upgrade would be nice

cheers

Note when u change to rvf fork need to change the spring inside the fork. That's will solve the problem. Haha. Which spring I don't know Bayi changed for me abt 200 for a pair. Plus service the fork is abt 360.

Things can be done and solve if u wanted to solve it.

As In vfr fork u have to ask keraking....

During Asia Pacific road racing back in 1998... i saw all Nsr 250(pgm 3 n 4) using stock fork and nsr 150 , the Thai racing team did using racing CDI(HRC) but this this parts are not mass production. Only racing Thai racing only. During that days, who ever caught using Thai Honda racing parts in Thai will becfine by Thai Honda.

Back in 1998-2001, i will visit my friend(who is Thai that race in Thai local race and he did inform me regarding about NSR 150 parts.. oh ya.. i know a guy last time who keep HRC NSR250 bike here in Singapore. I dont want to mention his name but he is Senior racer..he told me this bike is suppose to return back Honda HRC to be dispose but he manage to keep it...i did see the bike n it seem like nsr mc18 but the pipe is not that high mount..

Is it the fork internals are stock as well?

It would be hard to believe if they only use the non adjustable r model forks though.

Earlier model mc18 have low pipes right.

Matt on tyga say b4 when Matt do nsr150 on dyno with all his parts is 39.8 bhp. After Thai hrc come and put in hrc cdi the dyno is 41.3 or 41.2...

Even tyga don't own an hrc cdi for 150 how would we get it?

As for pgm3,4 using stock fork... During that's period of time rvg, tzr all the 250"s using inverter fork... Only pgm use normal fork.

After that honda rs250 finally wake up use USD fork.

No harm using stock fork for track or in the road. But the fact is usd fork is better handling and bigger brake disc after all. If u really feel ver heavy that vfr or rvf fork are...

Then can change to honda rs250 fork. I no money to change haha^^
