Hi forumers, do you know what is the function of the black screw at the visor of OGK helmet?

apparently u don't watch much sbk/motogp ?

they're for u to place tear-offs on to protect the visor and in case of insect/bird/foreign getting killed on ur visor to blind u.

 

try wiping bug guts off ur visor, it will just smudge across the visor.

if bug guts on tear-offs, just tear-off the "tear-offs" and u have perfect vison again.

Err... if a bird ever commit suicide on our visor at high speed, i doubt vision impairment will be the main concern.

Suggestion: Don't use the tear-offs on the road even you can get them.

 

It is because in the pro-race, the rider just use their visor and tear-offs for an hour. But you won't do that in your daily ride, the tear-offs won't really 100% attach to the visor resulted in small dust or other things might come in between your tear-off and visor and send your visor.....you won notice it until the marks come out. I had lost one AGV Ti-Tech visor to learn this....
