When i flipped thru the mag. there are nice bikes but its 250cc.

WHAT A WASTE! just 50cc more and i can buy that bike!

2B-Not more than 200cc

2A-Not more than 400cc

2 -You cannot drive car only:cheeky:

If you have 2B

You can only buy a Kup, phantom, 125cc motor bike(NSR, RS125, Roadwin,Pulsar)

If you have 2A

Most ppl will aim for Super4 or Kawasaki Ninja.

If you have 2

ST1300, FJR, Goldwing...big bike then. so no prob picking a loving bike.

cant the go ber men increase the categorise so that it will be - 2B not more than 250cc, 2A not more than 600cc?????stupid right?

If there's a chance, i will give my dream gal a ride to anywhere she like~

well.. im sure there's a reason why things are like that..

250 cc and below for 2B? hmm.. there are 2 strokes 250cc on the road like rs250 nsr250 etc.. dun u think they are too powerful for a p-plater? first day on the road ride a bike with such a fast pick up?

just a lousy example...

anyway... chances of lta changing the catergories? yeah.. if accidents involving bike reduce greatly then maybe...

juz my 2 cents.

LTA wun change the law i tink... although it's another 50cc... but it's too much for a 1st day on the road rider... sometimes even if u ride SP, 1st day on the road u oso scare... dun say if u riding pgm..

ya. maybe u r right. 1st ..250cc...i ride oso scare seah.

but there's really a limitation of sportbike for 2b. unless the manufacturer come out something like NSR or RS125.

For 2a...most of my frens are riding kup or vespa. their reason are mostly,

1)super4 is expensive

2)too common to buy a sport bike for 2a...(what a kuku reason)

If there's a chance, i will give my dream gal a ride to anywhere she like~

If you think on this issue carefully.

Ask yourself this: If you pass your Class 2 with out 2B and 2A. What bike will you buy? Surely, its a Class 2 bikes. Who would buy a 150cc or a 400cc bike? Just imgaine in this forum everyone is talking about Class 2 and Class 2 and more Class 2. So where is the 2B and 2A bikes?

In fact, its kinda smart. This policy force everyone to start off in buying 2B, then 2A and lastly 2. It generate revenues for motortiams, cus you will keep changing bikes rather then you straight away buy a Class 2, then ride a few years. If you know what I am saying.

4 Wheels move the body.2 Wheels move the soul.

and is there any problem with an all class 2 bike discussion?

and :btw: you're very wrong, many will still stick with under 200cc bikes.

It was discussed before and letter was sent to LTA, can read more about the discussion here.

imagine you're at a traffic junction, waiting for the light to turn green in your favour. a super big bike pulls up beside you. you try to sneak a peak at his super big exhaust pipes churning super loud throbbing sounds. you try not to stare too long at his super big exhaust pipes, so as not to give the wrong impression that you want to take him on. your heart skips a beat, then starts pumping harder. you look at your bike which is not as big as the bike beside yours.

every evening after school or work, you ride your Yamaha RXK and park opposite Wheelock Place, you enter Borders and flip through the latest Big Bike Magazine. No where do you ever spot your 135cc pocket bike on the front cover of any Bike Magazine. "2 years, 2 years!", they just keep screaming in your head. You perspire, you agonise the thought and sound of a 2006 999cc Yamaha R1 roar past Borders. You catch a glimpse thru the glass windows of Borders and see the R1 dude decked in full face OGK FF4 Venom, and a silhouette of his petite-sized female pillion squeezing him ever so tightly...
