some years b4 i ride megma, korea bike not bad, but juz pray don spoid, if u buy spare part not cheap.

the bike should not expensive, if 3-4 years bike, daystar below 3k can get it.

to me daelim dayster is the best "chopper" looking cruiser for 2b... but the problem is tt its parts are ex and seems slower than phantom... but the looks are better thou

Hi I have been riding a daystar for 4 years and would like to share my experience.

 

Pro:

 

1) Size is bigger than phantom, comfortable to sit on.

2) Good fuel consumption, average about 40km/l

3) Can custom till very nice! Workshop will quote you 500-2000 bucks to custom.

4) Can put 1 back box and 2 side box with no problem, extra storage.

5) People always thought your bike is 400cc. lol

6) Stable on highways

 

Cons:

 

1) Sole Distributor meaning you only can go back to Chong Kok Agency to fix your bike (They have 4-5branch).

2) Parts are defiantly more expensive, i spend about 50 bucks to change engine oil, air filter & oil filter), on top of that more $$$ is need to change addition parts.

3) Really no power, top speed 100-110km/h

4) Resale value is about 0! Most bike shop will not take Daelim, you have to sell back to them at very bad trade in price!

5) Too expensive.. I bought mine at $7,900. Regret!
