I believe its the 2 door version of the Cerato Forte. Test drives will only be available at C&C starting 17th October. Costs S$57,999(with COE) for the 1.6l MT. And standard package comes with 17 inch rims, front and rear disc brakes, sunroof and a whole load of goodies!

The KOUP concept features all of the standard safety features offered in Kia's regular production vehicle lineup including six standard airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Electronic Stability Control (ESC) paired with CDC stabilizes the KOUP for maximum contact with the pavement. The large 245/40ZR19 tires complete the KOUP's impressive package. Also included is adaptive front lighting and cruise control, adding to the KOUP's advanced safety technology.

too bad performance wise no where near the CRX. Heard its coming to Singapore next year. By the way its a hybrid.

Yup. price is good.....

 

Hmmm looks like a hybrid of Honda Civic and Lancer EX put together but with 2 doors! Good price as well.

Neways, i find the stock rims abit turn off la. =x

 

Anyone got any idea what kind of car will this be classify as?

eg: sports? mid sedan? compact?

Its classified as "Sports" bro. All 2 doors car considered as sports.

IMO i think kia is really getting into the nicer looking car designs... Great job for the designers IMO...

 

not to mention the price also not bad lei.

sat in it when i visited the showroom..

quite spacious in boot and passenger..

dashboard quite nice..

like the frameless doors..

 

haizz... if i had not bought my Swift.. this one definately in..

price is very attractive comparing to Tuscani at $80k..

 

rims ugly always can change.. does not void warranty according to SE..

For their first attempt into a sports coupe, Kia did a really good job as compared to Hyundai's first S-coupe.

 

price is very attractive comparing to Tuscani at $80k..

.

 

at $80k, I think it's pricing is way off because it's performance is really below par.

Thats the premium you gotta pay for looking good, stock! ;) :lol: Tuscani drivers also pay stock premiums I believe :rolleyes:
not really...so far, the SEs at C & C are saying that they are in the midst of negotiating with AIG on the premium rates of the Koup as basically, the engine is the same as their sedan Forte... Moreover, the koup is only priced $3k above the forte.. so market value of that car won't vary much from Forte.....since no major engine performance enhancement and not much diff in body / market value, the insurance premium might not be alot higher than the Forte.......
