Yo man...

I went to fit my bike in JB, the motodiam asked me try Shinko tyre cause of a previous incident, I learnt to trust my tried and trusted motodiam.

Not bad siol this tyre made in Korea... Actually was one of the more pricier tyre brands. Maybe only cheaper thn Dunlop tt9 n Bridgestone BT39s.

its been 3 mnths since i changed... Still have vry deep threads... somemore very grippy in the rain. All i can say is that it's performance is so much better than Dunlop tt9 (thai), IRC, Kenda, Michelin...

I went trekking with some friends and the tyre was grippy... The kind like the more you go, the grippier it gets cause their compound similar to BT39s (Medium soft) unlike the rest which are medium or street... The tread pattern also very good, personally,i think in terms of cornering, even better than Bridgestone. Overall, Performance is comparable to Bridgestone. So next time if I have money, Bridgestone BT39S. If no money, Shinkos... Half price of Bridgestone BT39s (Read, I am always financially challenged so Shinko would have me as a customer for as long as im riding cub)

PS: not advertising about Shinko but they are till now, the best brands which I have used for cub bikes :thumb:

haha... Jack, i always go JB chiong along with friends... Thats why quite familiar with the JB bike scene.

I just feel that this tyre impressed me quite a lot be it for daily riding or more. Somemore saw this tyre in Sepang last month during the MotoGP... So was quite impressed.

So Jack, you can continue saving your two cents everyday until you get that BT39S

BT39 ALL THE WAY!!!

It give alot of confidence in corner be it hot and dry or cold and wet.

but i still scared to corner low in the wet and can jam brake without skidding.

Nv seen shinko b4.

Tires and brake are thing you must never be cheap on.

quote: I am about 1000 miles into the set and have to say I am REALLY surprised! The tires have a pretty round profile to them, so turn in is slower than I am used to, but that is simply personal preference. Grip is so much better than I thought, I almost can't believe it! Once broken in, I could get all of the leaning angle I could on the Z6's and maybe then some, grip is quite good!

Yeap, today i went to JB again with friends and find my "old-time" motodiam to service bike. Today then i went to take a real look at the tires... Both made in Korea :cheeky::cheeky:

I still remembered the booth from Sepang... The girls were the prettiest in the arena. Didn't manage to get number :dozed:

willkhc: i fitted them in JB for RM190 per pair (plus installation) but cause service other parts so i bargain till around RM170 :cheeky:

dont know how much sg sells though...
